today is a day off for me. I have soooo many errands to run for work it isn't funny.
I'll definitely work out tomorrow though!

I didn't work out Monday, but I did yesterday. My weekend involved a lot of errands and then a lot of loud company when all I wanted was some quiet time with my boyfriend and kitties. So... I went home right after work to help make up for that. I have an eye doctor appointment after work, so provided I get out in time, I'll work out again tonight.

Even though is was only about 43 degrees it wasn't windy so I ran outside. I used my stopwatch feature on my radio and did the 2.8 miles in 33 minutes 11 sec. A local dairy was pumping liquid manure about a mile up the road and there was tanker traffic because of them plus it was kind of stinky!!
Might not run tonite I have garden club and have to run an errand before I attend the meeting. Plus my right hip hurts for some reason.

WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOO GAIL!!!
My Aunt & Uncle in Vermont had a dairy farm when I was a kid. We used to call manure "top dressing."

The back has been completely fine lately, thanks for asking Renee

Gail- way to go!!!! Running 2.8 miles is some excellent cardio!!!

I used the step when teaching my Hardbodies class yesterday and so did a lot of the exercises using that (adding resistance, range of motion, etc) and good GRIEF are my calves hurting! We did 1.5 minutes of calf raises with feet halfway on the step and I guess that just did me in. Which is crazy because my calves are literally the biggest muscle on my body. Perhaps it was that spinning class + my own class combined that caused all this pain? Oh well!

I'm not sure what my plans are for today (other than studying for my Cognitive Psych final tomorrow) but I'll definitely be doing another spinning class tomorrow and teaching my Body Pump class on Friday.

WHat's everyone else up to??

I want to go to your Hardbodies class so bad now!!! My calf and thigh muscles are my strongest and I love classes that really stretch their endurance. That sounds like so much fun!!!!!!!

I hope your legs start feeling better before your next workout!

Thanks Amy! I'm such a baby when my legs hurt since it really doesn't happen that often. Generally it's my arms or if anywhere on my legs, my quads, but calves???? No way! I'm such a whiner about them!

LOL. Well, is that because you depend so much on your calves when walking? That's a tough place to be hurt!

Ok ok, I am on my way to the gym here within the hour!
You convinced me Amy.
I'm having an all around good clothes hair and body day today, so I want to keep up the postive self image while I can.

Not much going on in my world. just work and the gym this evening.

Well, this is pathetic. I am due to start my first work-out today (to go through my programme with my trainer) and I didn't sleep well last night because Max was snoring and I COULD NOT wake him up, and Princess was grooming herself and restless all night.

I am exhausted and have PMS and am cranky and irritable and feeling lazy and can't be bothered doing anything except crawling into bed to sleep for six hours.

HELP!!!!!!!

Amy, I've decided to join up with all you workoutaholics!

I have about 20 pounds to lose and would like to lose at least 10 by the summer.

So today I picked up some free weights and some toning bands. I figure if I integrate strength training with walking an hour every day, it should do the trick. I used to work out 3-4 times a week, but that was YEARS ago... And of course, Lean Cuisine is already my best friend!

I'll be looking forward to lots of encouragement from y'all!
