Things you're embarrassed to admit you do

I think it's fair to say people who are nose-pickers flick their boogers, right? Am I alone here?

Well mine would have to be that I sleep naked.

Another is when I poop I will shift from side-to-side to help things slide out easier and smooooothly. Then when it reaches the water it splashes back up at me cause it fell so fast I guess.

When I'm walking or riding in a car I look into people's windows and examine their houses and yards. I've even turned the lights on in my own place, opened the blinds and then went outside and walked back and forth and adjusted things till I thought it looked perfect! Weird, eh?

I pick at bumps and scabs although I'm getting better at not doing that now.

I also pick my nose if it's really bad and hurting (I'll stop there).

As for talking to cats....I talk to all my pets, even the darned fish! And I talk to my baby like he can talk back. I even keep the TV on at home, just for the noise.

As for checking things because of being scared, once when I was a kid and I was home alone I heard a noise outside so I got a big stick, turned on all the outside lights and went outside and beat the bushes and screamed. Nothing happened, but it made me feel better. I did scare away an intruder when I was an adult by standing inside an open window and explaining to them that the police traversed our neighborhood all the time because there had been a SWAT standoff (and there had). I changed the locked, put on deadbolts, and locked all the windows after that.

I also love to look into windows while I drive or walk by a place. Just makes me wonder how the family inside is living their life, and stuff, I guess.

I am scared to DEATH of cockroaches! If someone even mentions one, I'll be like, "Where?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" lol It's really embarrasing b/c I'll be in public somewhere and just start freaking out! I even scream at a dead one! The roach has to be squished, flushed down the toilet (twice for "safety"), and the carpet area cleaned for me to even ENTER the ROOM again!!!!!!!!!! It's very embarrasing!!!!!!!!!!

I have this "talent" for using strange voices, so I talk to my cats in these strange voices. I can imitate the guy who is the star of Extreme Home Makeover, and I will say things like. it's time to go to Sears in his voice, just to hear myself say it. I have also called people up and left messages on thier Voice Mail's in some of my strange voices.

Hope. Really. Well then can you please call Eric with the Sears voice and tell him to fix the heater vent in the den that isn't working??? Sheesh.

OMG..........I will admit to doing 2 out of the three things here Cheryl........but I swear only you and I know this now................... If you tell anyone, I will deny everything..........

You, my dear, are not a loser. I also pull my eyebrows when I'm stressed, which led to an incident several years ago that involved me requiring eyebrow pencil.

I also bite my fingernails when I'm stressed which means I will never be able to get engaged and show off a ring with my fingernails constantly looking scraggly and pathetic.

Ever since I read a book in elementary school about a snake (I think) in a toilet, I always look in the toilet before I use it, just to make sure there's nothing there.

Oh and like several of you, I can't sleep with the closet door open!

I do that too! I am always afraid someone is watching me from in the shower...

Wow... these are all really quite funny! I'm not overly shocked, but I never did imagine some of them. It's not fair that I read this thread without posting at least one thing. Let's see... well sometimes if I have gas in bed, I might lift the covers to see how bad it smells. Why should I leave trapped vapors under the covers, right?

I suppose if you left the gas there it would warm the bed up quicker?!
