Well, he does look like a tiger cub with those stripes on his face, but he is a bobcat just like Amber

I'm sorry to disagree with you but animals such as the bobcats are not suitable for domestic life. They are wild animals and can be dangerous. Although they are very pretty, they should be left to those who are trained to handle them, and never as household pets.

Well, I am so sorry to disagree with YOU. Yes, they DO make wonderful pets, but, as I have said many many many times before, they are NOT for everyone and only for someone, like me, who is responsible and willing to give up a great deal of time and their life for the care of the cat. They are not something you own to be a show off or to look "cool". My wife and I own these cats out of the pure love for wild cats and all cats in general. Yes, they are very much wild animals, but they DID NOT come from the wild. They came from a breeder. Now, when I say they came from a breeder does not in any way mean they are domesticated, but they are tamed. Amber and Boris are in no way shape or form dangerous. I would like to know, where you got this information. Yes, I know how to handle them and yes, I know what I am doing. In fact, these cats get so much love and care, that I am very possitive that they get more love and attention than most people show their children. I have done a lot of research and continue to do so. I will be receiving even more training in February. I am not saying that anyone can own one of these beautiful animals. You must, as I have stated before, think of the cat first. They require a tremendous amount of work. My wife and I have been around lions, tigers, leopards and cougars. Yes, we know what we are doing. I was even kissed by a cougar. That, was nothing but pure love

Well, it has been a while since I last posted some pictures. I haven't had the chance to take a whole lot, but here are a few more.
Boris waiting on the stairs to pounce on my back

Hmmm, what do I see out there?

Boris and his daddy play a nice game of tug-a-war

Amber with the TV remote.

Just relaxing

Hey, where's my dinner??

Aurora says hey, enough of those bobcats already, what about me?

Yes, actually Tiggy is his favorite. We used to have a much smaller one, that was Amber's when she was a kitten. Then when Boris arrived, he claimed it as his, but there is not much left of that one
So, I found a much bigger one for him and he loves it just the same. Ummmm....Boris won

Aurora says: There may be a pair of bobcats running around, but we all know who's really in charge. Don't we?

Yes, his feet are getting bigger
He is just 8 1/2 months old and has approx 2 more years to fully mature. I just weighed him, he is 20.5 pounds.
Yes, I always love the look on Aurora's face. She always had that "I am the one in charge here" look on her face

Well it has been confirmed. We have been accepted as the new family for a bobcat out of New York who was in need of a new home. He has been rescued from his past irresponsible abusive owners and will now have a good loving home. He is 2 years old and has been living in an outdoor enclosure all his life, so at the moment, he will live outside here as well. Once he settles in, we will slowly introduce him to Amber and Boris. We have to build an outdoor enclosure first, so it may be a month or two before he arrives here. He is in very good hands at the moment. We have no name for him yet, the previous owners just called him "Bob"
but we will give him a better name. Any suggestions for this very distinguished handsome boy? By the way, the serval found a home as well

So, here he is

Wow he is handsome! Not sure on names but I do hope you can come up with something more original than Bob! Maybe something like Charlie... you already have an A (Amber) and a B (Boris) so now you just need a C! Okay I guess I'm not too original either! Anyway, is he going to live with you forever or just for a short while?

By the way, I love the new pictures of Amber and Boris!

I always have a hard time with names, although I came up with Boris, my wife thought up the name Amber. Most of the time you have to see the animal in person, to get a feel for the name. Yes, he will be with us forever and will be given all the love and care that his bobcat heart deserves and desires
