I haven't really met my neighbors yet. It's really quiet around here though. I hear kids out playing a couple hours a day but that's about it.

This condominium/apartment is much easier to take care of then my house. I'm absolutely loving it. And I took a couple of my smallest rose bushes and transplanted them into giant pots to have on my patio. Also bought some flower boxes so I can still have a few flowers to take care of. I loved spending time in my yard with the flower beds. It got harder and harder for me to do though.

I checked on the utilities too and both the electric and gas together run $30-60 a month depending on the season. That's a huge savings alone! I was paying $200-400/month for my house just for electric and gas.

Wow that is a fab place you've got yourself there. Good on you, see - things do happen when you least expect it! Sad about the kitties but they have good homes and are probably best as only pets as you say. It was very brave of you to to what is right all round and not be selfish. Your kitchen looks good and if the rest is as nice I really envy you! Hope you get on well with the neighbours but there is no reason why you shouldnt as everything looks neat and tidy and well looked after. Well done you.

Wow, that was fast! Your new place looks great - I hope you and the kitties feel at home as quickly as possible. Securing the balcony will probably give you a lot of peace of mind, and the cats a nice place to hang out.

I have a few more pictures I promised. Just have to get the living and dining room now. Maybe later... or tomorrow.

This is my bathroom (like you couldn't figure it out!)

Coming next.... the walk in closet and bedroom.

Walk in Closet. It's still a bit cluttered because I put all the boxes in there and bring them out as I want to empty them. Man I have a lot of clothes and they're not all hung up yet.

And this is various veiws of my bedroom. Notice the baby quilt at the end of the bed. That's for the kitties to lay on. But Jake thinks he's special and always lays on my pillows.

You'll never see my desk this clean again.

It is pretty spacious! The rooms are good size. And I have lots of productive storage. I don't have everything done and still need to hang some pics etc.

I have some pics of the living room now. It will take me a few minutes to resize them. Then I have to go work at the old house this afternoon

This is the living room looking from (near) the corner by my bedroom door

This is from the other side. My bedroom is otherside of that wall.

This is the small wall between dining room and my bedroom is just to the right. The door next to the fish aquarium is another little walk in closet. I use it like a pantry and also have my brooms, mops and vacuum in there.

And this is another angle, looking toward the patio door. See my new black leather glider/swivel rocker?
I had to buy it because I couldn't fit both my sofa AND loveseat in there. The walls are too broken up with the patio door and opening into the dining room. But I like it. And that's enough furniture for me! I have to buy new end/coffee tables. Mine were really oversized and I didn't want to bring them.

Brandon, I wasn't suprised at how fast I moved. I've had realators knocking my door for years. Almost since I came to Utah. My house is in a very sought after neighborhood that is pretty much surrounded by the Country Club golf course. I always poked fun at myself, saying I was the only poor person in the neighborhood. Which was pretty much true! But once I make up my mind to do something, I just do it!!
Oh I see. Yep seems like homes/land around those nice golf courses tends to go very quickly! Oh and the rest of the condo looks great! Black leathers the way to go

Congrats,

Brandon

Great pic's of the new place & congrats on the quick move. I'm so sorry to hear that Heniretta & Carmella have left. I hope they are happier now & hope you let us know how they're doing.

I wasn't upset at all. Sorry, I guess some things don't come over the right way. I was trying to use a sarcastic but funny: excuuuuuuuuuse me Don't know if that is any better or conveys what I mean but anyway... I'm not upset. Nothing to be upset about.

It's ok Tammie....I wasn't quite sure if it was a funny sarcastic or a ticked sarcastic!
I just wanted to smooth things over just in case!
