Great to hear kitty is doing well!
The thanks and purraise all goes to you and your husband for taking Francesca in and giving her a loving home. Her continued progress is evidence of how much she trusts and loves both of you [emoji]10084[/emoji]️Dont know how to do purraise, but Thanks so much!
I love this update [emoji]10084[/emoji]️ Sounds like little by little your girl is settling in. You are doing a wonderful job of being patient and loving with her. It sounds like you've done your homework about transitioning her food. What a great cat mom you've become [emoji]128522[/emoji] You'll want to do a similar gradual transition with the litter.Francesca update.
I am in the process of gradually changing her cat food from SPCA one, Companion, to Purina One Indoor Advantage. She is on day 3. Nearly half and half, and she LOVES it!
I took the cover off her litter box (tote), she spent too much time in there. It is a bit dustier, she uses it alot more! We are getting new litter asap, Blue Buffalo Naturally Fresh Quick Clumping. (Walnuts ).
She spends most of her time now underfoot and cozied up. She has a cardboard box with an old t-shirt, a new nice covered bed, her carrier with fuzzy in it,and a scratching post. She doesn't pay attention to any of those them! I sprayed with little 99cent catnip stuff..she doesn't scratch, but she does knead with her nails out. I cant have scratches all over. Theres a cool wave looking thing...but Francesca is a Senior kitty, quiet, loungy, older, not the playful type...so thats my next venture. She is so sweet and lovey, snd yes, her personality is coming out! [emoji]128049[/emoji]
That I don't know. Cats typically knead when they are happy and relaxed:Do you think the wave would address the kneading issue specifically?
She kneads when she is lovey lovey, like onto me. But, she also lays along side me and kneads the sofa. No scratches, but she is definitely making holes. Her naild going in and out same hole...That I don't know. Cats typically knead when they are happy and relaxed:

But if she is doing it to spread her scent and mark her territory then I would say "yes". What specifically do you find her kneading?
