@Tallyollyopia    so glad to see you are back...had been worried about you..

Working 3 weeks straight is really impossible.. Glad to hear you have 3 days off...please rest up..

Back when I was in the second year at a community college for ultrasound; I had to schedule myself for routinely having one day off every 2 weeks..and that continued for an entire year.. Between me having classes at the college, my clinical rotation and he having to work for some money, well I cannot believe that I managed it all..

On the day off, you would think I would collapse, but no--I had to study...but at least I could stay in bed for a lot longer.

make sure you take care of yourself...

Three weeks straight would be horrible!  I'm currently on a "staycation."  Started yesterday lol.

Glad you're back, Tally!

They only got a tiny bit of the gravy each - just enough to coat the pills before popping them in their mouths.

Poor Mickey must think he's in a nightmare.  We had to take the food away last night and he thinks he's starving to death.  He got used to having all the food he wanted and then it got cut off.  And I don't think he cares that I promised he can eat as much as he wants when he gets home this afternoon.

I feel like I'm just waiting for the day to go by. Contemplating going to a Minute Clinic later on, I wonder how long they're open till? Also need to pick up my meds because I'm completely out of the one. And more NyQuil.

Wishing I hadn't said I would back up someone for a cat sit tomorrow. She is so behind the times electronically-speaking. Doesn't do Paypal. I have to meet up with her not only for the keys, but also to get paid. I'm gonna see if she can pay me before the end of the sit seeing as I know she has the check already. She also charges differently (and less) than I do. Ugh. Oh well, it's just one time. Wish I was feeling better but c'est la vie, right?

Feel better at @Donutte.

I've never really been that into pinterest, but I have seen some interesting things.

Mickey is home and mad at us.  He's curled up sleeping on Aislyn's lap because she isn't the one who betrayed him and had his cheetos removed.  I'm sure he'll forgive us eventually.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with self-esteem -- it has nothing to do with selfishness or any of the other negative "self" attributes some seem so fond of in these times.  It's great that you are well-regarded and I hope that you do decide to give it a try -- the CATS could certainly benefit from your help!
Let us know how it goes, won't you?

Jasmine woke me up at 3 a.m., crying pitifully from the other room.  I got up to see what the problem was.  The bottom of her kibble bowl was visible.
I fixed it, she approved the fix (didn't actually eat any of the kibble, just approved the fix), and then came to sleep on the bed next to me.  Cattitude!

Going on over a week of being sick, and really getting tired of it!

Tried to rest this weekend as much as possible. Went to bed early last night. I think it was only 8pm when I went to bed! But I was REALLY tired by that point.

That really sucks.  Continue to get as much rest as you can, and don't let yourself get dehydrated.

A few months ago, I joined Perfectly Posh as a consultant.  Mostly, I was "kitnapping."  I wanted all the stuff in the kit at the huge discount and if I made money off it, great.  Well, I had a few orders right after I started but I haven't really done any work with it because I've been busy and haven't really been that motivated.  So, today, my sponsor tagged me in a post on Facebook saying I was close to "qualifying" for this month, which means $200 in sales.  I'm thinking she tagged me by mistake, but I logged on to my consultant page and there's an order of $168.  It's from a local woman I don't know so I think she probably searched for local consultants and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in the area.  So I'm sending her a thank you card and some samples.
Good idea.  And thank your sponsor for letting you know.

Jasmine is convinced that all sheets and blankets are intent upon eating cats.  She'll lie on top, because that gives her the upper paw, but burrow under?  No way!  And when a human moves to cover up a bit more, Jasmine gets off the bed pronto, for fear that the evil blanket will attack and eat her.

Somehow, she doesn't seem to worry that it will eat me
Maybe she thinks I'm too big to be eaten.

Margret
When the cats were younger Princess would panic every time that AWM or I (they're not allowed in RB's room) would cover up with blankets. She'd start screaming and desperately try to dig us out. I think she thought the beds were monsters that were trying to eat us. She grew out of it, but it was kid of funny--and tiring.
I knew a little girl once (grown now) who would have a screaming fit every time a doctor used one of those ear thermometers on one of her parents.  We think she must have seen Wrath of Khan when she was too young for it.

Okay, I need some advice. Way back in the beginning of September my health insurance was activated, and they told me I'd be getting my insurance cards in the mail. The cards have not come. I've contacted the insurance company which gave me another number to call, which sent me to a third number which, for some reason, is run by an automated service. I've been trying for over a week now to talk to someone, and no matter how long I "hold" on the line, I can't seem to reach a human. What do I do?
Call again & absolutely insist on speaking to a supervisor.

Ended up going to Minute Clinic. I do NOT have pneumonia, so that was good. But have a sinus infection, swelling in my ear drums, swollen lymph nodes, wheezing, coughing (lots and lots of that). Left with a bag full of drugs, including my good friend Z-pac.

I'm just mad I accidentally got the alcohol-free NyQuil :hmm:
