Ah, sounds like she is laboring still. Poor thing. I think stage one is the worst. They have to suffer increasingly painful contractions for a day or so before the body is ready to push.

I would have thought that shed at least be in the second stage by now. Its been 48 hours :/
Well, it depends on how much of all that was pre-labor and how much was actual stage one. Pre-labor mimics it.
Are you seeing contractions in her belly? Like ripples, or tightening and loosening?

Shes mainly just been trying to get comfortable, breathing fast, being overly affectionate, and resting.

Shes not panting. Her sides when she breaths are just moving up and down really fast.
I think she is laboring, and the breathing is from the intensity of contractions. I would not be surprised if she has kittens in the next few hours.

Shes still eating but shes starting to clean herself more.
