How lovely!  One green eye and one blue -- that's unusual!  A lot of "Diamond Eyes" cats have one gold and one blue. She is looking really well!

Wow....Bowie looks amazing!!! How are she and your dogs getting along?
We are still in the process of socializing them slowly...We tried introducing one of my dogs once before but Bowie hissed at my dog alot so we cut it short to avoid a bad situation..We tried again the following week when Bowie got her cat tree, we thought with the cat tree she will feel more comfortable kind of like her safe zone, but she jumped off the cat tree and tried to take a swipe at my dog's face luckily she didn't get her. Right now we keep Bowie in a pet carrier for a little while when trying to socialize them for safety reasons. My dogs seem calm and a maybe a little nervous when she's around, but they never bark or growl at her they mostly keep their distance, but whenever they happen to walk by the pet carrier Bowie hisses and swipes her paws like she's trying to claw at them and she also growls. We are researching and looking for videos on how to socialize them so they can get along and be best friends:) If anyone has tips please feel free let me know so they can be one happy family:)

I've never had a dog, but I know @Columbine  has dogs and cats. Maybe she can give you some advice?

There might be something useful here.

Cat and dog intros are never the easiest, especially if the cat is nervous. I find the dog side of things easier as, so long as they're trained (and on a leash as a safety precaution), it's pretty easy to get them to ignore the cat. In this case, I think you have things slightly backwards though. I would always crate or restrain the dogs whilst letting the cat have free movement. For a nervous cat (and I've yet to meet one that isn't nervous when confronted with a dog for the first time), the ability to distance themselves is crucial. Generally, I focus on keeping the dog's attention off the cat, and just let the cat get comfortable at his/her own pace. Given that you have multiple dogs, the most practical solution is to have one person handling the dogs (or more if the dogs are excited), and one person reassuring the cat.

For the dogs, a solid sit-stay or down-stay is key in the early stages. 'No' or 'leave' needs to be thoroughly understood and solid too. The final command that has proved invaluable, to me at least, is 'watch'. It's very easy to train - the aim being that the dog focuses their attention on you, rather than on anything else that's happening. Get a supply of extra yummy treats (or plain kibble if they're highly food motivated anyway), and have them in a sit-stay facing you. Take the treat in front of them , so they focus on it, then bring it up to your eye level. As they look at you, say 'Watch' firmly. Start out with a second or two, then say 'good watch' and reward. Keep repeating, gradually extending the length of time you ask them to watch. After a while, you'll be able to dispense with the treat, as the hand movement and verbal command will suffice. Always be sure to reward them though - either with treats or lavish praise and cuddles. This is particularly useful if they start to get distracted or over interested in the cat.

Hope this makes sense. Basically, control the dogs and give Bowie free access. Once she realises the dogs aren't a threat, she should relax pretty quickly :)

Good luck - I hope the process is a quick and easy one for you :vibes: [article="29682"][/article]

I am sitting here with tears of joy in my eyes.  Bowie looks so beautiful, and healthy, and NORMAL now!  What a wonderful job you've done with her!

Have you tried these people?

http://www.pawsofbremerton.org/services.html

These people are farther away but still not unreasonably so

http://www.nwspayneuter.org/

She looks fantastic! She is lovely!
Thanks PawsofBremerton is one of the hospitals on our list we are gonna give them a call and hopefully they have a spot open:)
I was just checking these because I like to compare with what we have here in Georgia.  I could not get the Paws of Bremerton to connect, but the NW Spay Neuter has even better prices than our low cost vets here, and they sound very professional in terms of what they do, even feeding the patients later.

Gosh she looks so beautiful[emoji]10084[/emoji]️

I'm a huge Chewy fan too. Their customer service is wonderful-if you ever have a problem with anything from them, don't hesitate to call them. They truly will try to make it right!

I have my first Chewy order planned for August.  I have to get my eyes examined this month, and my glasses next  month, but the month after that, Hekitty is getting STUFF!

Hello everyone! Sorry we have been gone for awhile but we are back!:) Here are some updated pics of Bowie she is now 9lbs...I love the way she looks at this weight and want to keep her at this weight..Tomorrow she is getting spayed and vaccinated at the humane society...I'm a liitle nervous but I think she will be just fine..Besides the Rabies vaccine what other vaccinations are very important for a cat to have?
