Is there a feeding guideline or chart someone can point me to? I was told to feed 1-2ml approx every 2 hours. But event the little guy will need more food. So when do i increase, and is it 2 hour till it can eat hard food?

The amount is 8ml / oz a day.  91grammes is 3 oz, gives 8x3 = 24 ml a day at this moment.   given feding every 2 hours, gives 12x2.   2ml each time.

Later on it will increase of course, as she is gaining.

Here we have the complication, we KNEW she gets some from momma. Prob not all, but surely some.

Still, its better to err on the side of being sure she gets enough, till you get a sure count she IS gaining nicely.

Thanks for that! I think them showing the baby feeding upside down was for a cuteness factor.

I agree! Just had to point that out though. You'd be surprised what people take away from a simple picture, if they don't know better. And you can't just assume who knows better and who doesn't. There's a YouTube video that shows the breeder (or foster) feeding her kitties flat on their backs, legs up in the air, just like the drawing! And many people have told her why she should not feed them this way. yet she does it anyway. SMH!

This is a good gain and shows that she *does* need supplementing. Mom likely just isn't producing enough milk due to age. Good that you stepped in when you did as this little one has a much greater chance at surviving.

Is it a bad idea to let the baby tell me when she doesnt want to eat any more per feeding?
Let me explain, she is doing great with taking the bottle, great sucking and swallows fine. But ill fill the bottle with say 1 tablespoon of KMR and shell take it and go to town. Shell down maybe half of it (give or take) and then will refuse to suck on the bottle any more. She turns her head or doesnt clamp down on it. I have been forcing it and when she does this I stop, pat her on the back a few times, pet her and then place her back in with her mom and come back approx 2 hours later with a new batch.

When she turns her head she is probably full. She may need to take a breath, but if she continues to resist, then she's full. Don't force it. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Just got back here, and sounds like you are doing everything just right.  You've got this.  We'll keep cheering you on from the sidelines, and helping you tweak things as necessary.

Ironically i was just coming back with an update/more questions.

The baby has been doing really well with taking the bottle and getting use to me. The momma actually starts to purr when i feed the cat.
Anyways i weight the baby yesterday morning ( i switched from weighing at 130pm to 9am) it weighted 101g. Today i weighed it and it was 120g. Its stomach seemed rather large, like it was just fed. So i skipped the morning does. Is it possible that the momma got her act together and started producing milk and i weighted the baby right after the baby just fed off the mother? Or could something else be going wrong? Thanks!

It sounds like all is well! Maybe mom's milk did come in. Keep weighing her, but you can probably supplement slightly less frequently.

Hoe ate they doing inside?

Her house? Like a little cat house? That sounds great. I'm glad they're both settling in to the indoor life.

That baby looks very healthy, so cute!!! You are doing a great job, I say, "You're a natural"  wink, wink

I love the fact that you brought the dog, excuse me, the "cat house" into the bathroom.  Good job!
