84 degrees F and partly cloudy here in Florida. It was HOT yesterday when I was picking up palm fronds from the yard to go out with the trash tomorrow. Summer is here.

Wish I was there. Instead of working in my yard, I'm using this day as a cooking day. Going to stock my freezer with lots of good stuff! Then, when I start spending all my time outdoors, I'll have lots of meals already cooked and ready to be heated!

It's 33c here (91f), it's sunny and air is full of dust and dirty air, it's impossible to open the windows in such weather, i just turned on the air conditions for the first time in 2016 (last time was in September 2015), so the age of high electricity bills just started again.. "I miss winter :-( "

Wow! 91 is hot. I dislike the dry, dusty hot days. You sweat and everything sticks to you. You eat and breath dust. Good thing you have air conditioning. To me the perfect temp is between 75 and 80 degrees. Although I do like 85 to 90 when it's a swimming day.

I LOVE  to open my windows during this time of year. It's nice to have fresh air after having the house closed up all winder. I don't turn on the air conditioner until I absolutely have to.

It was hard to get pictures of her as a kitten. She was either with her sibs and asleep, or in hyperdrive and rocketing around. 

Where I live, it is very quiet. No neighbors or traffic. When my husband is gone and the cats are sleeping, it's too quiet and lonely. So I always long for the days I can open up everything and listen to the river, frogs and birds. Then I never feel lonely. There's is so much beautiful, natural noise that it energizes me!

I know that feeling. I will be so glad when I move back out to the country so I can hear nature. I live in town now and all I hear is traffic

Its a cold day out. 40 degrees with freezing rain. Yesterday it was 60ish and I dug around in my gardens to try to yank out the crab grass. Today we finally get some much needed rain.

Some new pictures of my baby Sophiesaurus. I was in my room reading a book when she came in and decided to do some exploring. She was looking for a new cave. We're supposed to be hanging out in 60 degree weather with sun today. It looks pretty nice out even if it isn't warm per say.

It was downright hot here yesterday. I don't know what the high temp was outside, but it was 77F in the house, almost enough to turn on the AC. Today, it's in the 50s. Go figure.

This time of year is so crazy. The temps fluctuate drastically from day to day. I'm determined not to use my heater anymore, regardless of the temps, until October. I'll keep the fireplace going. My cats love when the fireplace is blazing. They will flop all over the living room and sleep as though they are statues. They won't even wake up for treats! Lol

Tell me about it. It's the same down here. I packed up all my winter clothes and next thing I know it's back down to 30's and 40's again. This weather is driving me crazy.

I told my husband that it's his fault the temps are so low. He's been putting his winter gear in storage also. He even tool the sandbags out of the back of our pickup. The next day it snowed. I still have my snow tires on my car, so I'm not guilty! But next Monday they get switched over. So if it snows again, it will be my fault.

I'm making gluten-free (almond flour) chocolate chip cookies!  Got the first batch in the oven now and I'm scared to look.  I hope this recipe works!  If not, I'm throwing the rest out.  OMG there's the timer.

A bit too cakey, but they do taste good!  Just want them to be crunchier
