Still no kittens.. This waiting game is killing me haha. She still has discharge, licking herself a lot, no more throwing up but still has diarriah. I'm going to pick up the other Queen this afternoon so let's hope she doesn't choose to have them when I leave.[emoji]128530[/emoji]

Let us know how things are after you get the other queen home. Are they meeting you somewhere?

They are meeting me about 30 minutes from my house so I'll only be gone about an hour. Not sure if I should introduce the 2 queens or keep them completely seperated?

I would keep them separate. I think the new one needs to acclimate, and the resident does not need the stress right now.

Ok so I got the new queen. Apparently I misunderstood and she is only 6 or 7 months old not 6 or 7 years!!! It can't possibly,be good for this baby to be having babies correct? She's in her cat carrier since we aren't even homeyet, so I haven't been able to see her belly to confirm, she's pregnant or to guess how far along.. But oh my,goodness this worries me! Oh and should is start a new thread for this one or continue on here?

Thank you so much for helping these mamas! I'm so glad that you were able to pick up the second one and return without the first mama having the babies!

You can have her vet checked to see about going ahead and having her spayed. If she's not too far enough along it won't be any problem. I know it sounds heartless but with her being that young it will not be good for her to have kittens. Hopefully there will be more on here soon with more experience and they will be able to give you more advise.

Why don't you use this thread?

Can you post a picture of her? She must be showing if the people were wanting to give her away.

I started a new thread before I saw this post but I will copy and paste it here and the other can be deleted.... Some of you may have been reading my other thread about the queen named Rosie I rescued. I also mentioned that one as rescuing another queen today. Well, she's here. Her name is bandit. The story is that these people bottle fed this kitten they found abandoned outside. She's now 6-7 months old and already prgnant so they needed to get rid of her. Poor thing. She's very skittish. Sweet...but scared. I'm able to pet her and she runs against my hand but then goes right back under my daughter's bed. So the pictures I have gotten haven't been that good. I don't want to stress her out so I havent tried to hard to get her to come to me yet. They said they thought she was 7 or 8 weeks pregnant. I'm not So sure. Her nipples are pink and her sides are rounded so im assuming They are correct and she is pregnant. But she seems awful small to be that far along. I have her seperated from Rosie right now to avoid stress on them both. It concerns me that she's so young. I know spaying her is an option, but seems so cruel :( . I guess im just looking for some opinions. Either way she will be getting spayed I just don't know,if I should do it now or let her have the kittens. I'm not sure if I can feel them move yet because she isn't out long enough for me to try. But, shes, safe now and I hope she will, come around soon!

Aww. Poor thing. She's scared to death! Can you get her to the vet for an ultrasound or x-ray to see how far along she is? I think once we know that, it will be easier to decide regarding spay/termination. She sure does look very young.

Yeah she is very scared. I'm going to let her relax tonight and call the vet in the morning. I agree that it Will,be easier to make that decision if I know how far along she is. How far along are they normally when you can feel the kittens move? I haven't felt them but the previous owner said she did. (which doesn't make it true) .. Just curious.

Kitten movement is usually felt 2-3 weeks before birth. Most vets won't perform late-term spay/terminations anyway, so we'll know soon.

Should I be worried that Rosie isn't in labor yet? She's had this discharge (mucus) for a week. Her milks been in for awhile and at some point aftr midnight Saturday night she began to vomit and have diarriah. that has all stopped now but I really thought that meant she would have them soon. Today no real signs of labor. She's eating and sleeping. Twice I have picked her up to hold her and have gotten the discharge on my shirt. I don't know how to tell if she's dilating or not. Should I call the vet? I just don't want anything bad to happen. She doesn't seem I'm distress. Just very pregnant and uncomfortable.

Yes, you need to call the vet. This is unusual. She needs an ultrasound or x-ray to determine what's going on.

Do you think it's ok to wait until morning? I don't know of an emergency vet around my area and if I find one I hate to think what it would cost. As a single mom of 6 (1 special needs) I do my best but its hard. She is currently laying on the floor playing with my flip flops. She doesn't have a fever and doesn't seem in pain or sick. The kittens are still moving around in there.
