me too. :)

i caught some outrageously adorable pictures just a few seconds ago:

lil baby's head pressed against his mama's asleep.

and then there's lil Shay on her back, showing off that adorable belly dot!

i can't even handle how precious and innocent this whole family is.

i also noticed the little woollyworm kitten has the TINIEST lil black dot on the tip of her nose. just a speck of her daddy.

Is anything any sweeter? Thanks for sharing. I love the kitten head butting the mama while sleeping.

yep! i'm happy to report that they're all nursing well, everyone latches on when mama comes around, and staying asleep in their box. :) i'm still supplementing a bit but the ones that were okay with me doing it don't seem to be as happy with me doing it anymore lol. so i've largely left them to their mom for the past day or so. they're growing too!!! already some are crawling around trying to walk. i think i saw signs of them starting to try and play yesterday, too.

something really cute happened today- i took the box into the living room to show them off to my mom. every time her hand would get close to one of the boys he would start hissing and spitting! i think he has some of his mom's temper.

also all of their lil eyes are open! :D

Aww! And yay! I'm so glad you let her have them. This is awesome! They sound so spunky and full of life. Your last litter for awhile ... Maybe?! [emoji]128521[/emoji]

hey guys, had a pretty rough night. i noticed pretty late that the lil white guy i had to bottlefeed to begin with wasn't trying to nurse with the others. i got up to try and bottlefeed him but he wasn't having any of it; whatever got in his mouth he wouldn't swallow, and it kept coming up his nose and he kept sneezing and wheezing. so i stopped trying to feed him, and gave him some syrup to bring up his blood sugar. i've done that three times but he still isn't interested in nursing. and worse now, princess keeps trying to move him, specifically him, over and over. i'm super worried about him. i'm going to keep trying to push syrup and formula but i think there's something wrong with the lil guy.

She's trying to separate him from the others because she knows something is wrong. Unfortunately, he's probably going to fade and pass. Stop with the formula - it's drowning him. Just keep him warm and comfort him. That's probably all you can do now. I'm sorry. [emoji]128533[/emoji]

@sarthur2 i wondered if that was the reason. :( maybe it was why he wouldn't bottlefeed to begin with. okay, i'll just bundle him up and keep him comfortable until he passes. so hard to let a lil one go. :(

nope. :( he's just being really quiet and really still. his mew has gotten a lot weaker. and he seems a bit thinner when i pick him up.

i did try feeding him a few more times - i feel awful just letting him starve. :( the first two times he was relatively okay and swallowed quite a bit, but then after that he wasn't and i couldn't even get it in his lil mouth.

i tried feeding him the last time about a half hour ago and he wouldn't even squirm or try to pull away.

Aww. Just keep working with him. Maybe he needs an antibiotic. Do you have any? The fact he took some formula earlier gives hope. Do what you can for him. Have you tried him back on mom?

@sarthur2 no but i can get some! also i've been trying to get him to feed every 2-3 hours for a bit and i can pretty confidently say that i got at least 5mL down just now. he's still here and seems to be squirming around a  bit more!

meanwhile, as an update on the others, they're all fat rolypoly powder puffs. i'm pretty sure all of the calico girls are long hair like their daddy.

Oh, I'm so glad he's still here! Amazed, but happy to hear it! Thank you for looking after him so carefully. He might benefit from some clavamox since we don't know what's wrong. If he has any infection it would clear it. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

well, i wish this was good news, but the lil guy took a turn this morning and has started fading. :(

i've just got him wrapped up and trying to keep him as warm and comfortable as possible.

Oh, dear. I'm sorry to hear it. I had my hopes up. Is it pneumonia?
