Having a third cup of coffee (both because we made too much, and because I needed it today). Waiting for 8:30 to come so I can let Sara out of the bathroom. She's a grazer so need to leave her in there with the binder/Miralax/high-calorie food mix for awhile. Then will be getting ready to head to work.

Pilled Sara, fed all the kitties, and cut up all of Sara's pills so I don't have to do it tomorrow. About to eat my latest nightly wind-down snack - peach oatmeal with frozen raspberries.

About to fix myself some supper, deal with BookBub et. al., and go to bed early.  I had to take my husband to dialysis tonight, since he's still too sick to drive himself, so I emailed my buddies in computer club and told them not to expect me tonight.

Had an interesting day yesterday. Stayed home from work with the crud. Had all intentions of getting to the walk in clinic but found Pumpkin face straining in the cat box so off to vets two hours later. Somehow she got a bladder and or kidney infection. Bloodwork was good other than a slight elevation of kidney values. They did urine and was only able to get enough for a spin. They found all cells in it. Protein and red/white cells. They did convenia shot. Sub fluids and pain meds. Shes still peeing small amounts but is eating. She seems comfortable. So hopefully in the next 24 hours we see better box habits. They also did xray to check for stones and constipation. They didn't find either. So I just got done giving her pain meds and she's sleeping comfortable.

Now I need to get to the urgent care because I don't feel well at all. Yesterday was too busy. We were at the vets for two half hours due to emergency. So by the time we got home and meds done it was 6pm. I didn't want to sit in the center for two hours. I needed to lay down. Gonna plan on going around noontime.

I need to get some more sleep
Been up since 3am dealing with another cat issue and plumbing problems. I got it fixed for now. I'm exhausted. Going zzzzz soon.

So darn cold out that furnace keeps coming on.

Foxxycat, you take care of yourself.
I'm glad Pumpkin will be OK and is comfortable.

I hear you about the cold. I simply cannot get warm. This is more like the beginning of March weather!

Just got into work, plopped myself down in the chair, opened my mug of coffee and ahhhhhhhh. I love morning coffee.

Foxxycat, hope everything is ok with you and Pumpkin face! It's so hard to tell if there's a kidney infection or not. And I hope you feel better today!

Finished up my first cup of coffee. Finally was able to get under the table to get Sara out. I'm sure she'll be looking for a new hidey hole soon. Performed the Trifecta of Torture on Sara (well, it is from her POV anyway) - pilling, liquid antibiotic, subqs, all in a span of five minutes. Now she's in the bathroom with some food sprinkled with Miralax and aluminum hydroxide. Yum.

Trying to will some energy into my body today. I apparently had a ticket for a show tonight, that I bought long before all this stuff started. AND I have a ticket for a show on Saturday. Where did all the energy I USED to have for this stuff go?? I remember going when going out three nights a week was no biggie, and I'm not talking that long ago either (couple years maybe). Staying in on a Saturday used to be unthinkable, yet that's what I've been doing for... a long time now.

Foxycat, make sure you get to the doctors today...and feel better...Pumpkin is on the mend, now it is time for yourself to mend.

Yesterday, I had to wait inside all day for the new dishwasher. I had a bit of energy yesterday morning and wanted to go out; but I waited. Stupid property management company! They had the appliance company deliver the washer, but not install it because it was an extra fee! Had to wait until my superintendent decided it was time to install it!

I was furious! I did just run out to the post office to mail some bills.

Came home and waiting again.

Super's wife told me I could leave, and put Artie in another room. With all his issues, I said no.

I was starting to feel poorly at this point... really hard to explain..just an overall body not feeling well thing.

Super finally came in; laughed because I blocked off the open area under the cabinet. He said The cat could have gone in there...I said no--eventhough it is clean, he is not going in there.

He had a hard time installing it, and I had to keep Artie away from him.

When he left I lied down for a couple hours. Woke up for supper, went to use the microwave...somehow the counter plugs were not working. I reset them, used the breaker box, still none. Called him again--after hours, wife said he was not home~~would be back in an hour. I waited until 6pm, I called again. He came right up.. tested it, not working. He did the breaker switch again, nothing...went over and did the reset in on of the outlets...it started working.. He looked at me as if I was stupid....man...I hate calling for service. But I did nothing wrong..it was him...when he installed the dishwasher...

I got in my pjs and lied down on the coach for the rest of the night...

Got up late...

Today I have to run to drugstore for me, then to Vet hospital for Artie's med, then a quick stop at grocery store.

I do not have any idea about supper..nothing is appealing to me..

In my prone position.
Went to Tel Aviv today to see my sister. I got to her at midday. Half an hour later I was having a manicure.
Then we went out for lunch.
Went back to hers and has strawberries and cream yum. I left soon after. Got home and read and then watched pride and prejudice, a daily programme called doctors and then a weird film. Off The Map. Anybody seen or heard about it? If so can you please explain it to me.
Now I'm in bed. Waiting for sleep.

But sleep won't come the whole night through, your cheating heart will tell on you. The later great Ray Charles.

I've been binge-reading Joe Grey mysteries after being turned onto them by a review right here on TCS.
Great mysteries and of course, the descriptions of the cats are wonderful.  I keep expecting Chula and Paul to start talking to me.
v Now I'm trying to catch up with all the threads I'm following which is no easy task after being out of the picture for hours on end.

@Stewball-  it sounds like you had a wonderful day.  I hope you get some sleep tonight.

Having coffee and checking the board for a few minutes. We're heading up to work on Rick's mother's house.

I just plopped under the covers, and am having a pity party. Even the cat is leaving me alone. He'll be there when i wake up. Gosh, I hate my job. Not the job, just the crap hours, and crapola pay.

:hugs: Hopefully the day will be a bit better when you wake up.

I'm enjoying my second cup of coffee while Sara's locked in the bathroom with her food for the next 45 minutes.

I used to feel kind of the same way... I loved the type of work I was doing; however the bull!!! was incredible. My co-workers were so cliquey that they were getting to me. The hours, if you were able to abide by them, were good, but you never got out on time, sometimes working an hour later. If you happened to come in a bit early, to update yourself on things, then you were automatically expected to start working. I am not a strict person; do not mind working late and starting early when it is necessary, but when it came to being taken advantage of, then my hackles go up. And when you could not count on lunch; either at a somewhat appropriate time or even at all, then you feel abused.

I got to a point of where I was counting down the days till payday and then counting down the days until the week-end....

I'm waiting for my son to go to sleep. He's fighting his naps so bad and refusing to sleep. He is too young to give up naps and I am not ready for it yet. My 3 year old still naps most days but my 1 year old is refusing.

Before that, I made black bean burgers and did dishes.
