How long till labour?

Dusty seems to be getting bigger belly wise is that normal for near birth? To me cats usually seem smaller but she looks alot bigger

She may not have dropped yet.  That's when the kittens move into the birth canal and the mom suddenly looks thinner.

Who knows? The kittens continue to grow and change positions. My cat was a butterball when she gave birth. She never appeared to "drop" at all, yet she finally delivered with no problems whatsoever.

One minutesshes in labour the next her belly moves from being dropped to not. This cat is really trying to confuse me.....

She may be contracting.

Sorry I'll repeat that. Do cats from the same litter go on heat at the same time or does it all depend on the cat?

Why are you asking? Every cat is different. Two cats from the same litter may have different heat cycles. It depends. But cats have regular heat cycles and can get pregnant at any time. What is your concern?

I just thought that maybe Nano her sister and Dusty got pregnant at the same time. I was wondering so I could base the timing on. Seeing as they don't it doesn't matter

Do you have two pregnant cats? If so, when did you notice each cat's pregnancy?

Are you planning to spay each eventually!

Nope her sister had a kitten around two weeks ago now and Dusty was missing for months before she returned pregnant a week or so ago. Yes they are both being spayed.

She had the other small cat that was pregnant, Nano. This is why I was recommending she spay her ASAP - it was a high risk pregnancy and the kitten died.

have have some more questions on Dusty 

1. I haven't felt the babies move in a couple of days do I asume they have moved into the birth canal and thats why or could they be they dead?

2. If the babies are in the birth canal how long do they stay their before being born or does it depend on the cat??

Other than that nothing really has changed her eyes have gone from constanty dilated to very thin slits all the time. Her diarhea is worse, usually it diddnt smell but now its really bad. Hoping mum will let us take her to the vet about it. She is friendly and happy otherwise wanting alot of attention but thats normal, and still eating fine.

Does she look like her stomach has dropped? When the kittens move to the birth canal the pregnant cat will look less round. It is my understanding that this happens soon before birth. Have you called your vet?

Do you know how long it's been since your cat escaped?

She disappeared around 2 1/2, 3 months ago...ish. she is an outside cat so it could have happened at anytime. Though I believe Nano and Dusty may have gotten pregnant at the same time though I was told told that cats have different heat cycles so I have no idea. Her belly seems alot lower but it was even lower a couple of days ago but seems to have moved up a bit again. Though going back to a week or so ago I was told she was going through pre labour now everythings gotten complicated. 

Now Im just blabbbering on, I have no idea how long shes been pregnant for but she has to be due soon of even over.

Is she having any sort of vaginal discharge at all? Are her mammary glands full of milk with nipples protruding?

No discharge, are mammary glands the lumps in the belly above the nipples? If so they are very Big, at one stage a couple of days ago she was expressing milk when pressure was applied.

You are planning to get them both spayed, right? I'm concerned about you having high risk pregnancy cats unspayed and outside.

Some cats do get milk in days before they give birth.
