I feed my cat Fancy Feast chicken and tuna feast and he won't touch it and also scarcley eats his dry food ( Royal Canin), if you are wondering why my cat eat Royal Canin it's because he is allergic to wheat, corn and mabye soy. I want my cat to be healthy and really need help

How long has your cat not been eating the food you are offering him? How old is he? How is his weight? When was his most recent vet visit?

How long has he not been eating and is he lethargic? Any vomiting or diarrhea? And lastly, how long have you been offering the Fancy Feast?

It is very important that cats do not starve themselves because they can get a fatty liver disease if they lose weight too quickly.

If he has barely been eating for more than a day or 2 I would take him to the Vet!

My cat has been eating Fancy Feast for about 2 months now and stopped eating it about 4 days ago. Kiki ( my cat) is 1 and a half and weighs 3 kg  and he went to the vet about 2 weeks ago to get a booster shot.

He is probably just bored with the food .  Offer him a different brand of wet food .. If he is not a picky cat  get 2 or 3 different brands and rotate daily so he won't get bored with it .

FYI  :You say your cat is allergic to wheat and corn ,  most of the Royal Canin kibbles have  wheat gluten & corn gluten meal ..

Not all of the kibbles contain wheat and corn and that's one of the only dry foods my cat will eat. My cat is extremely picky.

Yeah , I know that is why I said most . I just was not  sure if you were aware of the wheat gluten & corn gluten .    Is he eating anything ?  It can get very serious if he  does not eat for more than one day .

Maybe you try a different formula in the Royal Canin ?

All the other formulas contain wheat and corn. there is only one that does not contain corn or wheat. My cat already has something on his skin that looks like it's from an allergic reaction to wheat and corn so i don't think i should change the formula but i might switch him to a better grain free cat food like Blue Buffalo or Natural Balance?

Yeah , those are both good .. The Natural Balance L.I.D may be better because it is a limited ingredient diet .   I hope you can find something he likes . I have two extremely picky cats myself so I know  how frustrating it is to find the right food ..

For Fancy Feast check out the new Purely Fancy Feast  .. These are complete meals . Maybe your kitty would like them ..

I checked out the Purley Fancy Feast and saw many bad reviews, so I'm not sure if i should really try it out and see what happens.

Yeah , I just read some of the reviews .  I guess a lot of cats do not care for the new line .  It does not mean that your cat will not like it though ..It is worth a shot if it gets him eating .

How is your cat doing this morning ?  Is he eating ?

Ok, I will try the Purley Fancy Feast and Kiki ate some dry food, but still won't touch the wet food. Do you think 3 kg is normal for a 1 year old Peterbald?

That is great I am glad he ate something .  3 kg is almost 7 pounds I think . For a 1 year old that sounds about right ..

Yeah , a lot of pet foods have added coloring for some reason ..
I think they add coloring so that more owners buy it and think that it's good.

I made some homemade vanilla ice-cream and gave a little piece to Kiki and he ate it in a second and then meowed for more!!!

Why does Kiki love ice-cream???
