My cat went into labor sometime around 1 am last night (its currently noon) and still no kittens! I've never had a pregnant cat before so I'm not sure what to do now. I've researched a few sites and they say take her to the vet but I can't do that the vet is closed. I can feel the kittens moving inside her still, is she just not ready?

Has she been pushing?  If it is just contractions and not pushing and she doesn't seem in distress she is ok.

How many hours ago did labor start?  I know you said 1am but people are from all over and live in different time zones.

She said it is now noon there, so 11 hours ago.

Is your cat in distress? Early labor can last many hours. If she has been actively pushing and is in distress she would need to see an emergency vet.

What signs is she demonstrating?

She doesn't seem to be stressed at all, really relaxed. She's been in my room so all last night she never left my side, she just slept next to me. For a few hours she cleaned herself every few minutes and layed on her side. Then she went back to normal as of it never happened.

It must have been a false alarm or some pre-labor contractions. Glad she's okay now. :)

Her stomach may have dropped.  Does it feel tighter and she look slimmer?  You will also feel the kittens farther down between her legs.

She's panting and struggling to move, looks like she's pushing. Maybe kitten time

She got the first one out but won't take care of it, she just moved away and left it there

you need to open the sack and rub it if it isn't breathing.  If she has already done this then she isn't done giving birth yet.

The first one didn't make it, but she has more to go. Hopefully they do.

She had at least two more (that I can see) and they seem to be doing good
