Which smiley describes how you are feeling today?

Can't really find one that truly fits today. I'm kinda back and forth between mellow and melancholy today. It's the month anniversary of Lucky's passing today. But, it's not a bad day. It's just... a day.

Beautiful day   I love the sun it helps a lot!

Going out to see some of the live punk rock music I absolutely love today! Granted, no acoustic guitars involved, but this was close enough

Found out I'll be able to take Penelopy in to be spayed a week from tomorrow!! That's my last day at work for the rest of the year so very relieved to be getting it done before being off! I was so nervous it would get scheduled right in the middle of a snowstorm in January, with my luck.

How I feel after watching Oscar chase his 13-year-old Aunt Sara through the house. I know he's just playing but I also know she does not feel 100% these days.

and  .  i'm just doing and getting things done and organized today. and it's a nice sunny day with no rain in the forecast, so that always brightens my day.

Been in a funk since yesterday evening ... felt the same this morning! Just gotta hold it together til lunch time!

I did my cleaning

Girls are sleeping and they are cuddling    ​

 My boss gave me a great annual evaluation! And a raise!  I always worry myself silly, even though I know I'm doing a good job and I'm really trying as hard as I can. So it's such a relief and such a load off of me when the evaluation is done and over with for another year. 

​ I enjoyed all those great comments by the winners and keep reading it, it's inspiring

It is raining but girls are still catching each others tail and Mia being a naughty sister to Macha   ​

because after 5 years with a Mirena, this morning my GYN kept her word on discussing a TL with me and we'll be scheduling my appointment soon! (Big deal for me, as I'm only going to be 29 in Feb and many dr's frown upon even considering one on someone 1. under 35; 2. someone without kids)

because I have had a bad feeling for a day & a half on my life getting turned upside down again, and I'm a horrible overthinker & worrier even when nothing has happened yet.

Just feel like I got a big case of the dumbs today. My brain is appearantly on a vacay.

 and 

I had a very restless night last night. Mollipop was to my left, right smack tight against me and Muffin was to my right, right smack tight against me. I couldn't move. I finally got turned over to my left side....Molli got up, waited until I got settled in again, and curled up tight again, under the covers. And then I'd start to dream, always about the cats. I'd awaken, go back to sleep, and dream again. It was like that most of the night. Always bad stuff, something was happening to the cats, they were missing, I couldn't find them, and it was really disturbing. I finally said the heck with it at 4:30 and got up at that point.

In here at work, the boiler is down, so no heat. We are freezing.  It's 5 degrees outside; we are not amused. It's been like this for three days now.

And so today it's this:

My computer has crashed several times in the past few hours with Firefox giving me a little bit of grief. Guess I can include this too:

(because until it gets back into its "okay you can work" mode, all I can do it wait impatiently.)

It's okay now; we'll see how it goes. (Firefox really ticks me off sometimes...)
