I ended up with a pregnant female cat a couple years back that showed up on my place.  She gave birth to 5 kittens that all looked very different from each other and I kept a brown tabby cat that I liked from the bunch and gave the rest away.  The mother cat was a relatively small cat.  She was a gray/brown tabby with white paws, stomach, and chest.  I have seen lots of cats like this.

The male kitten got more spotted and wild looking as he grew larger and larger he did grow.  He currently weighs 20 lbs and is not fat.  He is just a huge cat.  He is also very spotted like a bobcat or ocelot.  He is absolutely a beautiful cat.  He also had a tendency to play with water which doesn't seem normal for most cats.  He will paw and splash around the water bowl, making a mess.  Even better, I MUST keep the toilet lid closed because he will literally have half the water splashed out all over the floor.

He is a unique and interesting cat with beautiful markings.  All of these characteristics make me wonder if he is some type of wildcat/domestic hybrid.  His mother basically came from the woods so mating with a bobcat is a real possibility if this can happen.  He has a normal looking cat tail.  It isn't short or bobbed like a Manx or Hemingway.

Is it possible to post pictures here?
