I am currently reading From a Buick 8 By Stephen King. I have read the Flowers in the Attic Series among others by V.C. Andrews. I really like her. I also read On Writing by Stephen King and thought it was very insiteful into his life.

I'm almost embarassed to admit the piece of fluff I read over the weekend.
Nerd Gone Wild by Vicki Lewis Thompson. I used to read romance novels all the time when I was a teen and I just couldn't resist this one. It was a cute, fun, and easy read.

Getting ready to start Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser, hopefully it will help me kick my fast food habit.

Last week's books were "Monday Mourning" by Kathy Reichs, and Edward Rutherford's "Dublin" (in honor of St. Patrick's Day). The first was, as usual, quite good, and the second was written according to Rutherford's "formula", but was nevertheless enjoyable.

I'm off to the library today. They are holding Jimmy Buffett's A Salty Piece of Land for me. Love Jimmy's music and his books crack me up - he just doesn't write enough of them.

I have currently read about half of Huxleys (yes the Brave New World one) collected short stories. Its excellent. I would recommend Huxley to anyone, though admittedly he is a little wordy, and not too action packed. Its all about the situations/descriptions he brings.

Finished Jimmy Buffet and am on to the new Kinky Friedman Ten Little New Yorkers. It seems to be my week for off-the-wall writers. There IS a full moon, tonight.

I don't usually read as there just isn't enough time in the day but I love reading movie scripts via the internet. I am currently reading my US History book as well. I'm old and finally shooting for my diploma.

I was snooping about in the local library and while trying to find some books by Gwen Hunter and came across an author named Stephen Hunter. I took one of the books and after reading it discovered it was #3 in a trilogy so I am now catching up with #'s 1 and 2. #1 - Point of Impact, #2 Dirty White Boys and #3 (which I read first) has just escaped me for now. They are not your usual "chic" books - probably more for men but I've enjoyed them very much.

I just read 'Lucky' by Alice Seabold. It was a good book, but i didn't like the fact it lacked a happy ending. Of course, it's silly of me to assume that a rape victim would someday find total happiness, but oh boy, was i wishing she would have one

I just picked up Rita Mae Brown's latest Mrs. Murphy mystery, "Cat's Eyewitness" and started it, last night. I love those books.
