Aaah, so cute! It reminds me of the flocks of ducks that used to come to my back door and stand on the patio, bills tapping on the door, every morning in the summer back before idiots started mass dumping debris like leaves and tree trimmings in our stream back home (now the water is sludgy and stagnant and understandably, the ducks have likely found better water).

Ha! Whenever I visit my sister in Toronto or Waterloo, the first thing I do is look for geese. And inevitably get chased by one of them.

LOL, there are a couple geese that hang out on a street adjacent mine so if I end up walking in that direction, part of me wants to get close (I think they're cute, and at Dufferin Island in Niagara Falls, I would feed them lettuce by hand) and another part of me is bracing to run because I have no idea how they feel about people. I have yet to be chased by one, but I have stepped in many a giant poop piles on the sidewalk.

Would it not be wild....if one of @pinkdagger's ducks flew south and became @Fhi09's ducks?

Hey, I don't know duck migration, but it could be possible..
..lol....idk.

Seeing my dog and baby kitten Walter snuggling tonight and earlier Ana and Walter (who look identicle except Ana has white on her chest and paws... other wise they look the same grey.)

Finding or seeing how much I love these new kittens. How relaxed I am with them around. It really makes me really smile and feel good.

@MServant :
You and your cats make me laugh... lol. Not sure who makes me laugh more!!

I sent a message to a friend earlier in which I told them I'd had a busy day, got very hot, but I wasn't  feeling like taking a bath or shower.  When they replied I read their message as telling me I should 'stay down wind'.  Being me I asked them how they knew I'd not bothered to shower and it might be best for me not to get too close to anyone!   Speedy response came back to me pointing out that what they had actually written was that I should 'wind down'....  Oops - think I might have a guilty conscience. :lol3:     At least being daft gives me plenty of opportunities to laugh (at myself)!  :jester:
Bahahaaaa awesome!! Oh my goodness.
Watching Mason try to ride my bike.

Oh how I would love one of these. Just reading this reminds me of my mom and sister who have passed on. Can you take a photo?
Finding a new shop close to where I live that sells lovely little plant arrangements in bottles and vases, and lovely little stones and crystals.  I bought a tiny little angel made out of stone that glows different colours depending how the light catches it.

My daughter and I were talking about teeth as I brushed hers tonight (she's 4).  She was looking at the gum behind her molars and I explained that when she's a little older she'll get more teeth there and I showed her mine.  Then I told her that not all of mine came in and pointed out where I still have some baby teeth.  She asked why and I told her I don't know; that there were just no adult teeth to come in there.  She replied back "Maybe they got tired walking."

We've had some rough times lately; it was good to have a little laugh with her and remember how little and innocent she really is.

I woke up and went to see if Aimee was awake and she was still asleep. First night in her big girl bed, even though I blocked her in with a bed rail. She slept in it all night and it made me happy to know I won't have to fight with her to get the crib away for the new baby.

This thread.

Too many cute pictures, chatter about ducks, the things children say, and the odd bit of stuff about cats and kittens thrown in to the pot too.  This is a good place to be.

@catlover19  How great that Aimee managed to stay in her new bed all night: I love that sleep position, a young friend of mine used to sleep that as a baby and it was so sweet.

@rachelinaz  and @Sugarbread, I'm not sure what the stone is but I bought a second one yesterday on my way home from work as I love them so much I think they'd make great presents for people.  The woman who knows about the stones in the shop wasn't there when I went in but hoping to meet her in the next week or two.  I think it might be moonstone or something but not sure.  They also had them in rose quartz and amethyst when I went in yesterday.  I'll try to get organised and take a photo of one.  They all looks slightly different because of the way each piece of stone catches the light.

@rachelinaz    I am so happy that Mouse and I make you laugh!   I make myself laugh a lot but usually think I bore other people with my ability to chat about nothing of importance.   I think Mouse and I are quite well suited.

OK @cat nap, now you have asked that question about duck migration you are going to have to go find the answer because it is now a fact I have to know....

Pretty sure those ducks can't fly, unless jumping awkwardly is the new flying.
Oh, no.
@MServant .....Did I just give myself some sort of "research project" to do??  I just got back from doing TCS Treasure Hunt, so my brain is tired..
  But next week sounds good.

Oooo.....I think @Fhi09   just got me "off the hook", in doing that research, since his ducks do not fly...

.   (the ones up here, do not...."jump awkwardly"..
..).

@mservant There are some ppl I hope to see daily or several times a say and you are high in the list!
I second that.
But its more Mouse that is the genius behind the stories, I think.

My happy place.
I was walking to the car park after work today and it started to rain really hard. There was a business woman walking in front of me and she was all sharply dressed in a lovely skirt suit and heels. I had to smile when she pulled out a Disney princess umbrella (it was one of the clear dome ones which cover your whole head like you have when your 5 years old)! It was so much better than my tatty old thing which kept blowing inside out though!!. :lol3:

Yup, ducks fly here too.  I do not think you are off that hook yet @Catnap  .

I just smiled again, well laughed out loud to be honest.  My young Italian house guest is sitting in the living room with me and having her first attempt at needle felting.  I am on TCS and our other flat mate is in another room calling his parents on Skype so Mouse is bored and been trying unsuccessfully to get out attention for about 1/2 an hour.  Kew felt ball in progress being dropped accidently.  Within a split second we could hear thundering paws and a Mouse approaching at speed, then skidding in to the room only to reach the ball just as it disappeared under the armchair I am sitting in.
I swear he heard that ball being dropped before it even hit the floor!   Poor old Mouse.  He wandered back in to the hall looking quite dejected.
I might have to take a break and throw him some of his biscuits.

At least he's eager.

Mine's licking the rug profusely right now.

Hearing the K-I-S-S-I-N-G in a tree with new words. Cracked me up !!

Seeing one of my older kittens momma Walter. Wash him up and such. She has never been a real momma. So it was cool.

I turned around to see where mine and and Noodles was behind me on top of the cat tree snoozing.  Her head could not have been further off without her falling.  She heard me turn and picked it up with a little chirp.
I do not understand how cats sleep like that!  Se looks miffed now.  I think she knows I'm posting about it here.
Or maybe I woke her from a good dream?
