Ha! Whenever I visit my sister in Toronto or Waterloo, the first thing I do is look for geese. And inevitably get chased by one of them.
Aaah, so cute! It reminds me of the flocks of ducks that used to come to my back door and stand on the patio, bills tapping on the door, every morning in the summer back before idiots started mass dumping debris like leaves and tree trimmings in our stream back home (now the water is sludgy and stagnant and understandably, the ducks have likely found better water).
Bahahaaaa awesome!! Oh my goodness.I sent a message to a friend earlier in which I told them I'd had a busy day, got very hot, but I wasn't feeling like taking a bath or shower. When they replied I read their message as telling me I should 'stay down wind'. Being me I asked them how they knew I'd not bothered to shower and it might be best for me not to get too close to anyone! Speedy response came back to me pointing out that what they had actually written was that I should 'wind down'.... Oops - think I might have a guilty conscience. :lol3: At least being daft gives me plenty of opportunities to laugh (at myself)!
Oh how I would love one of these. Just reading this reminds me of my mom and sister who have passed on. Can you take a photo?
Finding a new shop close to where I live that sells lovely little plant arrangements in bottles and vases, and lovely little stones and crystals. I bought a tiny little angel made out of stone that glows different colours depending how the light catches it.
Aww, sharing duck buddies!
Would it not be wild....if one of @pinkdagger's ducks flew south and became @Fhi09's ducks?
Hey, I don't know duck migration, but it could be possible....lol....idk.
Haha, so cute!
My daughter and I were talking about teeth as I brushed hers tonight (she's 4). She was looking at the gum behind her molars and I explained that when she's a little older she'll get more teeth there and I showed her mine. Then I told her that not all of mine came in and pointed out where I still have some baby teeth. She asked why and I told her I don't know; that there were just no adult teeth to come in there. She replied back "Maybe they got tired walking."
We've had some rough times lately; it was good to have a little laugh with her and remember how little and innocent she really is.
Pretty sure those ducks can't fly, unless jumping awkwardly is the new flying.OK @cat nap, now you have asked that question about duck migration you are going to have to go find the answer because it is now a fact I have to know....
Oh, no.Pretty sure those ducks can't fly, unless jumping awkwardly is the new flying.OK @cat nap, now you have asked that question about duck migration you are going to have to go find the answer because it is now a fact I have to know....
I second that.@mservant There are some ppl I hope to see daily or several times a say and you are high in the list!
Yup, ducks fly here too. I do not think you are off that hook yet @Catnap .
Oh, no.@MServant .....Did I just give myself some sort of "research project" to do?? I just got back from doing TCS Treasure Hunt, so my brain is tired..But next week sounds good.
Oooo.....I think @Fhi09 just got me "off the hook", in doing that research, since his ducks do not fly.... (the ones up here, do not...."jump awkwardly"....).
I second that. But its more Mouse that is the genius behind the stories, I think.
At least he's eager.
Within a split second we could hear thundering paws and a Mouse approaching at speed, then skidding in to the room only to reach the ball just as it disappeared under the armchair I am sitting in.
At least he's eager.
Mine's licking the rug profusely right now.
