I guess you may not be getting much rest tonight. How many more do you think she has?

It seems that way lol, she's just started contracting again. I had guessed on her having at least 5 or 6 so I'd say at least 3 more

She's doing great, she was happy dozing and letting the kittens feed and has only just now started pushing a little again

Better pic of the 2 of them

A picture of contentment. I do believe she's smiling! And definitely a little tabbiness on kitten no.2! What have you nicknamed that one?

Rather unoriginal but tabs lol, number 3 is here now and looks similar to cow, guessing dad is definitely black and white, she seems to be having quite long breaks between but is happy and content just laying there, occasionally licking babies or herself then once she starts contracting and pushing its about 45 mins till baby arrives, it's 11.40 PM here now so I'm guessing I won't be getting much sleep as I'm sure there's another 2 in there maybe more

And we have number 4 just 1 hour & 15 mins after number 3, black and white again though she's too busy cleaning it for me to get a pic yet

Well there were no more overnight (it's 8am here in the UK) I think I can feel one or 2 more in her tummy but its hard to be sure now it's all soft and squishy lol. Daisy woke me at 6am by standing on my face, they are all in a box on my bed (that was the compromise when she wanted to give birth on my knee yesterday lol) so she was half in the box with her front paws on my face, once I turned the light on she looked at the kittens then ran off to her food bowl, she kept coming back every few mouthfuls though bless her, it was like she was checking I was with them still. We'll see what today brings but for now here's the perfect picture of contentment

I certainly am bursting with pride, Daisy is doing fab as a mummy and all that nursing has her eating like a horse!
I weighed the little quartet today and they're all chubsters lol, in order of arrival we have Cow weighing in at a whopping 137g though cow is now 24 hours old and nursed almost that whole time, Tabs is 134g, Pickles the smallest at 120g and last but not least Tickles at 130g, no wonder Daisy was huge, I still think she has another to deliver but I'm less sure now

Pickles and Tickles! Love it! Wow, they are great weights, almost as big as my three day olds! Lovely big cats they'll turn into. No wonder it took her a while to push them out! Gobbolino took her first stroll round the house today, she immediately went and found her brother and sister, and there was a very sweet family reunion. Have you had the kids asking if they can keep "just one kitten" yet?!! :D

My 5 yr old daughter named the last 2 lol, I said it couldn't be a boys or girls name as we didn't know what they were yet and that's what she came up with! The kids were asking to keep one right from when I took Daisy in lol, I think I may be convinced to keep Tabs :lol3:
