 Hi again Katie!

Do you know how far along she is?    If you know when she mated that will tell you,  it's usually about 65 days .   The nipples start pinking up at 3 weeks.   Normally if you can see the kittens moving,  it's probably within the last couple weeks.   but that is not totally guaranteed.

Right now it's important to make sure she is getting some good nutrition --  high protein and fat,  pretty low carbs is best,    and canned food is usually higher protein.   plus if she is used to eating wet food that will make it easier for her to stay hydrated when she is nursing.

Ideally she should be eating either kitten food or a food for ' all life stages'   which means it's good enough for kittens and pregnant/ nursing mom cats.

Then be getting a nesting area ready for her.   It will be best to have one room that you keep the kittens in,  and keep her in there with them most the time.   a quiet warm room with a door that can be closed.      then provide some kind of box ,  laundry basket etc.  and some old blankets or something similar.

Here's a link to a bunch of resources on this site about pregnant cats, birth and caring for kittens  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/249018/...regnant-cats-kitten-care-articles-and-threads

and  a couple more links that are helpful about cat birth that tell how to prepare,  what is normal and what's not normal,  how to help if needed and when to get her to a vet.

http://www.cat-world.com.au/parturition-birth-in-cats

http://www.fabcats.org/breeders/infosheets/breeding_from_your_cat/felineparturition.html

Although usually cats have kittens without much problem sometimes there can be complications,  so it is wise to make sure you know in advance where to get help    -- have your vet on call,  or know how to get to the nearest 24 hour emergency vet -- and figure out how you would pay for it IF she did happen to need emergency care,  including a c-section.

She only has biscuits do you think I should add wet food aswell?

I have a cat box all set up with blankets and a cover over the top to make it darker and I have shown her this twice now,I haven't rang vet yet but will do that ASAP and find out what happens if I run into problems late at night

I will look though links now x

Its not common, but a couple of forumists had it.  It because of all the hormon swellings etc.

Also some high preg got more loving, while others gots more defensive, = defensive aggresiveness.

It may also be both, interchanging...   :)

You can make it manageable by reducing as much you can all moments of stress, of her need to be on her watch. Talking friendly and making a lot of friendly noises, Soft, relaxing music, a Feliway diffuser, and so on, what you can think out.

Good luck!
