I stayed the same, too: 165.0 (technically a "loss" of 1.8 lbs., but that's probably clothes and stuff).

Great job, catsallaround and MargeCat (is your name Barbara?)! It's always great to get compliments!

I lost 1.73 lbs. this past week.  Saw my cardiologist this week, and he was very pleased - I've lost 30 lbs. since early May.  I think I can now safely say my almost year long plateau is broken <G>.

278.5.  Those cupcakes my mom brought over I know it was. I still am doing well with healthy meals and only had ready made hotdogs one time:)

Congratulations everybody. You all either lost or maintained. l'm the only one who gained last week :(

And l have to say, l'm not starting this week off well. l was at a LEAN Six Sigma course today, and of course food was provided. l had salad (good) a sausage and egg muffin (bad) a piece of cake and a square of cheesecake! (very, very bad).

l'll have to exercise twice a day now.

Ugh, still 177 even. And l'm on course today, so we get fed decadent delights.

Hopefully everyone else will have better news to report. Good luck ladies.

So I got on the scale yesterday and I was down a little. We went out to dinner last night because it was our anniversary and I am now up over 3 pounds!!! My food was salty and that better all be water weight. :hmm:

My turn, I guess. I'm up 1.5 pounds.

I'm blaming it on baking those darn cookies last night, even though I only ate two, one of each kind. But yep, it's the cookies' fault!!

I'm ready to quit!!!!! So close.....and yet so far!

Hang in there, guys. It's a whole new week!

Sick all week, off and on: sick Friday night, fine Saturday, Sunday, Monday, sick again Tuesday night, fine Wednesday day, sick Wednesday night, fin-ish Thursday, better Thursday evening, but then awful from 3:30 am until this morning, slightly better after getting up.

No sleep, little food . . . 152-something this morning, but probably more like 162, due to unreliable scale. That's still 3lbs. less than last week, so I guess a loss is a loss. That said, I'd rather lose from eating well and exercise, though, than from throwing up and having diarrhea and not being able to eat anything remotely tasty. I am also seeing a pattern of being better when up than when lying down, so I'm desperately crossing my fingers that tonight will not be a replay of Wednesday or Thursday night. And I'm hungry, but I'm afraid to eat anything other than white rice or noodle soup.

And this time, I think it might be a bug that's going around. Kids at my school have had stomach stuff, and when I talked to my upstairs neighbor to apologize for the noise I've been making (I've had pretty extreme pain), she said she's been having stomach pain and diarrhea, too. She also reassured me that she hasn't heard me crying out in pain, which is a relief. She said I'm the quietest downstairs neighbor she's ever had.

I talked to my doctor, and she said to try Immodium for the cramping, so I got some. I hope if I need it, it works. I also hope I won't need it.

Ok time to fess up. I didn't post last week. I've been cutting lose, enjoying the wild life of cookies and other treats. No excuses. Thought I was invincible because I exercise a lot. The scales were going up but my clothes were fitting the same. I was getting away with it until this morning. Jeans are snug. Bum is starting to get bigger!!. It's time to cut back again. I find it very hard to have that happy medium. I still need to learn moderation. BACK ON THE WAGON FOR TAMELA!! Arrg!!

I think I'm still losing weight (remember, I don't have a scale).  A few days ago, for the first time since June 16th, when I started the diet: I felt thin. I mean, I knew I was losing weight before, but now my body feels thinner, not just looks thinner, and the clothes fitting looser, etc. Does this make any sense? I remember this from the mega-weight-loss of 1996. There's a moment where it all "clicks" for you ; this is it. I can feel my pelvic bones a lot more all the sudden, and they look flatter in the mirror. There's even a hint of ribcage, though very subtle, in the mirror.

Yesterday, I was in the clothing store, and was deep in thought. I caught a glimpse of a woman in the shiny clothing rack, and thought, "Who's that skinny chick behind me?" Oh. Ok, maybe it was the outfit I was wearing, but...
Now, I do have a LONG way to go before I'm officially "skinny", if I ever get there--but I could see that I've lost at least 20lbs; more like 24-30 lbs.  My pants that I haven't worn since last year, and hardly wore because they were not very comfortable (they really are black twill stretch leggings, but I bought them a size too large to be more pants-like in fit) are way too loose in the rear end, and are much looser all-around. They may have to be donated to Goodwill soon.

I was crest-fallen last night, though. I mentioned to DH that I had lost about 30lbs. "Thirty? Nah. More like maybe 20." Well, buddy, about 1 month ago, you said it looked like 20 lbs. I KNOW I've lost more weight, much more, since then; my clothing shows that, and so does the mirror!
  So there!

I still have a looong way to go, though.

Sounds good, at first I thought it was for our overweight kitties.
Maybe we should start one for them. Mogli is on a diet and actually managed to lose 100 grams. That was before he broke the child-proof lock on his food cabinet last night and raided it. :lol3:

May I jump in? I'm really overweight but I'm not going to diet.
In May I had to send my lotto to rainbow bridge and was very ill soon after. Massive temperature and I don't usually get one and I had no appetite. Lost 10lbs. Quite soon after I was in hospital for a week. One week of hospital food down another 10lbs. My d.in law was amazed when she saw me. Not nice ways to lose weight but it was easy!!! How do you put the smileys on please?

I'm a member of your club. Actually what's been happening is that I'm gaining over the weekend and then trying to lose during the week. But what I lose during the week, I gain back on the weekend, so it's turning into a vicious cycle again. Hence the weight gain this week. It's not been pretty.

But today is Monday and it's the start of (yet another) new week. I need to get my head back into a better place.

Now, how cool is that? "Who's that skinny chick?" Awesome! And that's great about those pants. As for DH, ehhhh, let him say it. And smile.....because you know better! I think you're doing a fantastic job!

Isn't Mogli known for breaking locks to his food cabinet?? He must be hysterical to be around. You should put a camera at the lock to see how he manages to break them.

@catsallaround. I was weak. I'd had to have blood transfusions and by the time they agreed I could go home my hemoglobin was 8. I don't think I can do the smileys. I'm not on my laptop. I'm on my mobile.
