Hi, I just joined.  Have three burmese, 1 male - Phin and 2 females, Roxy and Cleopatra.  Cleopatra os 12 yrs old the other two are 10 months.  What is the best canned food for them?  They also get kibble, I'm feeding them Diamond Natural Active Cat but not sure what is best in canned - which they get about 1/2 a small can a day. I haven't had a chance to check out the site yet.  The answer is probably there!

Welcome aboard.  You're a good mommy to be concerned about what to feed your furbabies.

You'll find lots of good information in similar threads.

To get you started, here is an article about choosing the right food for your cat(s).

As a rule of thumb, the more wet and less dry, the better.  Look for foods that have a named protein (versus "rendered meat"), and as few grains and fruits and vegetables as possible; cats can properly metabolize carbohydrates.

Some brands frequently mentioned as good are:  EVO, B.G.,, Soulistic, Fancy Feast Classic isn't bad for the price; Wellness (though has tapicoca--a grain/carb).  Avoid foods with fish except as a treat; especially in male cats, can cause problems.

Does Cleopatra have any health issues?

Welcome to TCS!

Yes, there is lots of food info on this site,

but a few brands of cans that I feel are a good value for the money,

and that my Kitties do well on are:

Grain Free, without peas & potatoes:

EVO 95% Chicken

These have a little whole grain Brown Rice, which I prefer over peas & potatoes:

California Natural Chicken & Brown Rice

Natural Balance Chicken & Liver

Natural Balance Turkey & Giblets

All of these are cheap on PetFoodDirect - especially on AutoShip,

which can be edited, changed or cancelled at any time.

For me, I feed 50-50 dry and wet.

For wet food, I feed a brand called "FirstMate" (http://www.firstmate.com). I feed the turkey and chicken flavor. I try not to have too much for my cat.

For dry, I'm currently feeding Orijen Cats an Kitten.
