New addition?

Don't know what's happened but Kat-Kat almost attacked kitten last night and again this morning.

He's huffing a lot and won't stay in the house with her.

He was even growling at me when I picked him up.

Obviously not a happy puss cat.

Don't know what to do next, Pauli still wants to be friends but he isn't interested
 

Have you tried rubbing the sock all over Paulie and then rub the sock all over Kat Kat? Not sure if that will help at this point, but it is worth a try. I am sorry that things turned out this way after Paulie's day at the vet, but it is fairly common, unfortunately. I think at this point, I might confine Paulie and see if Kat Kat makes advances towards wanting to make friends on his own terms. I am sure this is not a happy situation for anybody in the house, people and kitties alike.

I may have figured something out.

Kitten stays in all night and sleeps.

Kat-Kat is out all night and wants to sleep all day

I kept kitten awake a lot longer last night and they actually stayed in the same room for several hours.

When she woke up (and woke Kat) Kat-Kat held her down to 'wash' her then she groomed him for a while (then she got all boisterous again)

At present, they have both been out since around 4:00pm (went in different directions as far as I could tell?)

They should both be coming in soon to eat.

Hopefully getting them back in the same time frame will sort things out?

Absolutely! I didn't know that was their schedule. It is opposite :lol3: Certainly that will solve this problem. Paulie wants to play when Kat Kat wants to sleep!!!!! Problem solved. :cross:

Looks like it worked

They shared food then Kat hissed and swatted at her, both went out and were playing within 15mins

Pauli looking 'cute' and keeping an eye out for Flash


Checking out the lizards and beetles


Not sure who is going to pounce on who, ended up both together


Mole hunting, I guess they can hear them running around underground?


 Kat-Kat (Flash) has dug up moles to see what they were, played with them for a while and let them go back underground (he's a strange cat, doesn't kill things)

Pauli terrorises the lizard population, anything up to 3" long, most are missing tails

OH WONDERFUL!!!!!! I have been hoping for this !!!! I had a feeling it would only be a matter of time before Kat Kat opened up his heart to Pauli once again :heart3: LOVE the pictures and thanks for sharing them. :lovegrin:

Weird, Kat still doesn't like being in house with her, maybe it's the weather today but he was downright nasty.(been raining most of day, thunder and lightening tonight)

Pauli is real confused (as am I)
 

As I am confused as well. BUT will say, that they are making great progress. Just hang in there and try not to fret too much over it. I promise, they will work things out. It is very obvious that Kat does love Pauli. We just don't "talk" cat and we cannot for the life of us figure out what goes on between them. They are on the right path, though. :nod:

Now I'm even more confused.

They went out just after I posted as rain was a lot lighter

Came back in about 40 mins later and shared food

 Went out again-together (after eating)
Seems to be just indoors?
I think I may get one of the stressed out kitty collars and see if that gets everything back to normal?
Kitten has just come back in for the night, maybe they are just messing with me? :doh3:

:lol3: Don't mean to laugh, BUT I think they might be trying to make you crazy over this. I think at this point, I wouldn't even worry at all about them. They are carrying on the way that best suits them at the moment. Looks pretty darn good to me. :bigthumb:

AWWWWWWW Look at them nap away. TOO cute. Honestly, I think it has been normal (to them anyway :lol3 all along. So happy for Kat and Pauli (and you and your wife )

They were playing really good this morning, Pauli kept 'attacking' Flash ended up 'standing' like a pair of boxers, they were hilarious.

Flash wanted to eat and Pauli wanted out, Flash was looking for her to play some more.

She's been in and out all day, came in through front door earlier and ran directly to back door (too lazy to walk around the outside of house?)

Been in a few more times, grab something to eat then back out.

Flash got up about 7:30, wanted feeding then went out.

Seems this has turned into a cat blog, I post more on here than facebook, twitter, etc

:lol3: I don't have time for FB, twitter or any other site for that matter. I am on TCS posting often. NOW....... question...... did I miss something along the way? :lol3: FLASH? Is that Kat's new name? Glad to hear things are going well :bigthumb:

Stepdaughters friend named him Flash when he was a kitten.

He never really answerd to it though so I always called him Kat-Kat and he would mostly come running (if he wanted feeding)

Wife calls him Flash so now he will ignore both names most of the time LOL

:rofl: I should have known because ALL of my cats have multiple names too. :lol3: Depending on whether they are being sweet or naughty!!! :lovegrin:

LOL, Pauli (also answers to kitten, and various other names) cried to come in through back door, had some food, wanted back out again. (through front)

I had to go out first so automatic porch light comes on

She's a real spoiled kitten (they both are )

Quite surprised as it's dark out and she usually stays in when it gets dark

Almighty crash out back,thought sliding door was coming off.

Not just kitten wanting to come in, Kat-Kat and her are playing, they get pretty crazy running around

Both just came in to eat (again)

I guess they are not getting fat because they chase each other around so much?

 Kat did huff at her slightly but now he's looking for her to play.

I'm not going to worry about them, they are trying to drive me crazy

Now, the question is...................... have they honestly put you over the edge??? I do swear that our kitties are thinking and plotting while we are sleeping!!!! Kat and Pauli certainly are having the time of their lives. Wonderful to hear. :happy3:

I know I'm late to the party, but this was hilarious! )

It's been very interesting following the Kat-Kat/Pauli adventures after spaying. I'm a tabby worshiper at heart, so I think your boy is absolutely GORGEOUS!
