Is anyone besides me watching this series all this week???? It started Monday night....and goes through tonight.....(guess I should have posted this earlier) It starts at 8 central and goes till 10 central....tonight will be the years 78 and 79. It has been such a trip down memory lane for me!!!!!!! Not just the music of the 70's, but the commercials...toys...fads...fashions...TV shows....ect.

I have laughed so hard at these shows!!!! I had forgotten so many many things!!! I was born in 65, so the 70's were childhood and early teens for me.

I have taped them all! I have seen such things as Grizzley Adams...Clackers (a toy)...Baby Alive...Stretch Armstrong....Gouchos (pants) The Osmonds....Lite Brite (a toy)...The Land of The Lost...(a Sat. morning show)...It's not nice to fool mother nature (a commercial)...and oh.....the Oscar Meyer Weiner commercial from 76.....it ended with ....."You take care of the big things....we'll take care of the weiners"

The last two are tonight....from 8-10 central.

I just love this!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about a blast from the past!!!!!!

I was going to mention the kitty bands and darnit, I forgot!!!
I love it!!! And Heidi...the reason maybe you remember so much from the 75 show is because that is the year those things originated...but were maybe still here a few years after. Just a guess. For example...they showed the "lite brite" in the year 70 or 71 I think...which would put me at age 5 or 6...but yet I remember having one when I was about 8 or 9.

Shucks. . . I hope they play the series again. I would love to see it! I was born in the 62. I never had a Lite Bright. . . . but I made sure that my daughter did (so I could play with it!).

VH1 tends to play their shows over and over again. . . . so just maybe I'll get to see it!

I loved their special on Cat Stevens . . . and Aerosmith.

Aerosmith is from my area. . . . my sisters used to watch them at high school dances. . . . long before they moved to Boston. It was good to hear the real story. . . they claim to be from Boston. They are really from Sunapee (at least Steve Tyler is).

Hope- You really like Kiss?? My ex was a big fan. Had their records and played them all the time when we first met.

Do I like Kiss??? I don't know if you would call it like.....more like obsessed!!! I LOVE Kiss. I have all of their albums, I have Kiss dolls. I travel all over to go to Kiss concerts. I have a web page devoted to Paul Stanley, the Starchild in Kiss. I practically eat, sleep, and breath Kiss. Between my love for Kiss and my animals, my life is full.

VH1 is replaying them right now. They have been all day. Since my kittys are sick I've been here awhile, with them alot--each one comforting and poking and proding--, and once in awhile I'll check the tube. I love when Kermit does camoes, like his Bruce Lee.

Aww I missed it! I'm not an avid VH1 watcher so I didn't know about it ahead of time. And I didn't see your post until now.
Bummer. I'm a 70's gal!

I've been watching this show...trying to catch every episode I can. I was born in 1968, so all this 70's stuff...Easy Bake Ovens, Lite Brites, the commercials all bring back soooo many great memories. Things that I haven't thought of in years...remember ZOOM?!?!? Wow...it's been great. I wish I had been thoughtful enough to record the episodes. The comedians/celebrities doing the commentaries are hilarious. Both my husband (born in '69) and I have had just a blast watching this series. We watched I love the 80's...we liked that also, but, somehow, I love the 70's just brought back the nicest childhood memories. Yeah...can you tell I love it too?!?

Glad to hear other people are enjoying it as much as my husband and I have

lots of things from the 70's (bell-bottoms, pocket combs, braided-ribbon barrets, Supertramp, Air Supply, Ranger Rick and World magazines), but I really don't relate well to that time period. I consider myself an 80's child. I really love the music from the 80's (all of it), the T.V shows from the 80's (Cheers, Mash, Full House, Facts of Life, etc), and the fashions( stretch pants, leg warmers, head-bands, and oversized shirts). I DO however, love watching "That 70's Show" on T.V. it is a real hoot seeing the 70's styles of dress and behavior.
