We managed to get in all the maize (cow fodder) and it didnt rain

And my bone shaped cake mould arived today so I am all ready for the pups birthday next month (just got to make the cake)

Seriously, I'm happy that my surgery was yesterday and now all I have to do is rest and heal.

The one thing that made me happy today was being able to sleep in today! I have had a very stressful 3 weeks at work and have not been eating or sleeping and I was so exhausted that I went to bed at 7pm yesterday and slept in today!!

Something else made me happy today too! I went to pick up my ring from the jeweler. I was having the 3 links on top soldered together. While I was waiting I found yet another ring that I loved! It was on sale plus an additional 10% off. So I bought it! I get it in 3 to 6 weeks because they have to special order it because I have large fingers.

The other thing that made me happy today is that will be the last ring I buy! I was looking for one for my left hand ring finger that didn't look like an engagement/wedding ring, and the one today fits the bill.

I'm also happy because I'm about to go and have a nap!!!

Scarlett is sitting in my lap and pawing at me to get off my rear and feed her. It's 15 minutes until her normal feeding time and she makes me LOL every time she reminds me its getting close that time. Which, btw, is every night of the week.

OK, she's just settled in with a forlorn look on her face. But she is purring really loudly.

WOE is me mom. Can't you see that I'm just wasting away to nothing?

It's Sunday! And I am happy to be looking forward to a day of cooking cleaning and studying! I love free days with little to no plans.

I'm happy today because our cat is starting to settle in really well!

I am ecstatic because my lil kitty has pooped TWICE today without any yucky cleanup duty needed!

I hope we are on a roll

I'm happy because I spent the entire weekend with my amazing family and we took Landon to the zoo for the first time yesterday and he loved it

I am happy because my husband is really wonderful and made a great dinner that was fresh, healthy, and super delicious.

We cooked dinner for our neighbors tonight and they brought over probably the best loaf of home made bread that I've ever had. And they left us a big chunk of it for leftovers.

I'm smiling just thinking about the flavor of that bread!!

I am happy because I have a puppy who is the cutest and sweetest creature known to man

I am happy today because I had a wonderful weekend with the husb.

I just reunited 2 lost dogs with their owner this morning. We saw them yesterday in our yard and got the owner's phone number from their collars. We called them but by the time they returned our call, the dogs had disappeared.

I looked out my window about 20 minutes ago and saw them again. So I called the owner who drove over here immediately to pick them up. He was so happy to see them - they escaped from their fenced yard. Their names are Archie and Honey.

This will keep a smile on my face all day long.

My best friend just called to tell me that he's in PA and asked me to have lunch tomorrow! He's lives in Minnesota now and I miss him so much...haven't seen him for about two years now. Happy? I'm ecstatic!

I had a nice day today. It was around 67 degrees F. today in Connecticut, which is very warm indeed for late October. I had to buy new sneakers and found two nice pairs. Went on to Amazon.com and ordered Keith Richards's autobiography. He is the Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones and I have always wished he would write the story of his life. And now he has.
