At the moment, they only tolerate each other. If Ginga eats Jazzy's food, Jazzy will hiss. They are getting better though :]. We hope for them to become friends because we got Ginga because we thought Jazzy would be lonely when we go on holidays. But if we had to give Ginga up because it doesn't work, I would probably cry. She is so cute, she licks me, she sleeps with me. SO CUTE! :]

Yep, that is Ginga :]. Just thought I'd give an update as well; Ginga and Jazzy were united in the art of sleep yesterday
though later Ginga tried to follow Jazzy. Jazzy was fine until she got too close, she hissed. Then Ginga thought it was a game, they batted at each other (their claws weren't out.)
So, at the moment Jazzy is fine until Ginga gets too close :]

Jazzy sometimes scares Ginga by hissing, now whenever Ginga sees Jazzy she slinks. Ginga is trying to let Jazzy know that Jazzy is the alpha cat but Jazzy just doesn't get it. I need a bit of help.

Introducing the new cat to the "old" one takes time- especially when the new kitty is crazy and playful and the other cat just wants to be left alone
Apart from giving Jazzy a lot of attention, time is one of the biggest things that will help

;] Whenever Jazzy hisses we tell Ginga that it's OK, then we pat Jazzy and tell her that she's a good girl. Oh, and another update: there is a video up on YouTube with Ginga: enjoy it :]

LOL Well, Jazzy only hisses either if Ginga hides or if Ginga is in a place that Jazzy thinks she owns (eg. our rose bush.)

Just a small update: Jazzy & Ginga are friends, they play fight with each other, watch each other. Ginga chases Jazzy and Jazzy doesn't even seem to care ;]
