I am truly sorry you are so unhappy right now. I know how it is to worry about our precious ones. Try not to cross any bridges before you get there.
A lot of things we worry about never happen. It is painful, but we know in our hearts that our cats are not going to live forever. I certainly hope that you have many more years with this one you love so much. I am sending prayers your way for you to find peace somehow and for Bugsy's healing.

I know... Bugsy is not even Three years old though; he will be three in may. He is just a baby... He is dealing with so much in his young life

This is very unexpected... And very painful indeed. There is simply no way not to be...

I'm so sorry; OMG, I am so sorry, Carolina. Sending lots of that it's not cancer. Could it be a lipoma or something like that?

I hope you have so many years yet with your Bugsy.

I am so sorry, what terrifying news about Bugsy. I am going to be sending positive energy that it isn't cancer. I know how you care so much about your babies and always put them first, so I can imagine how scared you are
I hope you can stay calm until the surgery, poor Bugsy..

I am so sorry Carolina, not that any time is good for stuff like this to happen but sometimes it feels like the world just kicks you when you are down
I pray that Bugsy's mass is not cancer and that he pulls through this, hang in there!

I'm so sorry to hear about Bugsy's tumor, and can empathize with your feelings. It's really fortunate that you had the foresight to insure your babies. I'm adding megaand
that it's benign, and am keeping him and all of you in my thoughts.

I'm so sorry, Carolina. I just saw this thread. I'm unemployed too and just had to borrow MAJOR money to get Holland's teeth extracted. At least that wasn't something life-threatening, though... but I have a fraction of an idea what you're going through.

You have all the in the world for things to work out. You and your little ones are in my thoughts.

Carolina,

You do so much good for others here, and I hope that everyone's support is helping to comfort you now.

All I can say is.... we never have any idea why trouble is raining down on us in buckets when the sun is shining on everyone else. It's some kind of test, maybe, and we have to pass it so our lives can get back on track in new and better ways. Call it karma, fate, fortune, God, the gods, the alignment of the planets — whatever it is, it ALWAYS passes. This will, too. Remember, you have wisdom and strength, and you can handle this.

Please don't blame yourself and don't wish you were ill instead of your cats. Your job is to be there for them and you are very good at that.

I believe you've had miracles before and I'm hoping you get another one very, very soon.

Poor Bugsy! It's just a good thing he has someone who really cares about him; so many cats don't even have that.

I am so sorry you are going through such a hard time, I know how hard it is to be dealing with such an unexpected cancer scare and when you have other cats ill at the same time, it is so overwhelming, I was thinking what had I done that was so bad to be dealing with this. Fingers crossed that the surgery goes well, and it is benign - I had a fatty lump removed from a 13yo cat at the same time as a dental, and the only sign he showed of being unhappy was that he was having to be kept in for 10 days, he showed no other effects of surgery - his was over his ribcage, on his side. We are all here to support you, and trust me, it is a big help.

Carolina, I am sorry you are going through this.

Take a deep breath and try to remain calm until you get through the surgery. I've had cancer scares with a few of mine over the years and what I've learned is that the majority of the lumps are benign. Until the vet removes the lump and can assess it, don't let the what-if's get to you. Your babies will only pick up on your stress and if Bugsy actually does have cancer, stress is the last thing you want him to feel.

You know that 2 of my cats were recently diagnosed with cancer. What you may not know is that I lost my job last December. If you need to talk, please PM me.

Carolina, Please know we are all pulling for you. I feel every bit the way you do when my cats face things like this. I wish there was some magic thing to say.

Try to be strong and hope for the best. It may turn out not to be cancerous.

Take good care of yourself, your kitties need you. Sending up many prayers and vibes for you all.

adding many thoughts and

i know it's so hard, but as others have said, try not to look too far ahead. face each day one at a time, and be strong. bugsy needs you to be your normal self, as do your other babies. you're loving them, giving them medical attention, and taking great care of them, it's ALL YOU CAN DO.

you WILL get through all this, and be in a brighter place looking back... hopefully very soon.

praying that bugsy's lump is benign (as SO many are)...

I wish I could give you a REAL hug.

I know you feel like crawling in a hole right now, but DON'T GIVE UP HOPE! I know it is far easier said than done, but hun you have to remember that there is still a great chance that it isn't caner. You can't just look at a tumor and know if it's cancerous, you KNOW that. I've seen animals (mainly dogs, most ppl on my fam have dogs) live long healthy lives with some nasty looking tumors. I know that you are at the bottom of the barrel for money, but since the vet is workin with you, please get it biopsied. It will save yourself so much worry, because you will know for certain.

I pray that it is just a fatty tumor.

If I had the money, I would so send you a vase of flowers or something.

You can PM anytime you need a shoulder.
