Good for you.

That is something I want to have once I am done with weight loss.

No so much due to the weight loss, but when I was pregnant with my youngest I had some swelling issues. Not only did she stretch out my belly a LOT (she was 11lbs at birth ), but I had swelling on my belly.... it was weird.... I had my big ol pregnant belly, then on the bottom of it was this `pouch`of swelling.... almost like another mini belly.... it just hung there.

When I lose weight, I hate that pouch.... I am so self concious about it.... its this `bloop`that no exercise will get rid of

So for self confidence reasons, I do want to have the tummy tuck done down the road.... I`m hoping I can get away with just a mini tuck rather than the hip to hip scar.

sorry for the hijack...

back to your regular scheduled programming.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
No major surgeries for me. I ripped my leg open and needed stitches as a kid - don't know if that counts.

Had all wisdom teeth surgically removed. Had a tooth that had to be removed under sedation - apparently I have very long roots, and it took 1 1/2 hours!

Also as a kid there was a cyst in my cheek - they didn't know what it was so had that removed.

So I guess 3 - but all very minor.

Weird question. I love it!

I have had two:
1. Tonsils taken out when I was in kindergarten
2. I had a lump carved out of my chest during a cancer scare. It ended up being okay, but sure terrified me at the time.
3. Wisdom teeth as well, if those count.

Um starting at 2 or 3 wks to 1.5 yrs old, I think 9 maybe... I got a colostomy at 2 or 3 wks old, then a bunch between that one and when they reversed my colostomy at 1.5 yrs old

One at 21 a laperoscopy (SP?) to explore what was wrong with me, they had to remove an ovary (was crushed between internal organs because they weren't in the right spots caused by adheisans (Scar tissue) They also removed the adheisians(I can't spell) then, and a large cyst that was the same size as my sergeons fist. My other ovary wasn't developed, it was immature, like one of a 10 yr old child. I kept that one for hormones and the posibility of producing eggs and maybe having a serrogot.

Now I am in the hospital, no bm since saturday morning (small one) No food since saturday evening... So I am waiting to find out if I may need another one
if it fixes me and makes me better for a while
That's great

All of them were on my abdomin. UGH!

Be safe.

I had one after my colostomy reversal because my bowels weren't working, so they opened me up yet again to check every centimeter of my intestines to see if there was something else wrong. They just didn't know how to work was all.

I guess mine would be four then b/c I had my wisdom teeth taken out under anesthesia when I was 18.

I had an ectopic pregnancy when I was 23 and had to have it removed.

I had my tonsils and adenoids removed when I was 24 I think.

I then had adhesions removed for endometriosis about 3-4 years ago when I was 28/29ish maybe.

The first one was emergency, the second time they let be try VBAC, but I never dilated past 6 and then I had severe pre-eclampsia so they decided a c-section would be the better way to go. I almost died both times and now hubby's talking about wanting another. I'm thinking ever heard "third time is the charm"?

I mean they are 10 years apart, but I'm not sure I want to risk it.
