Since all of the old pictures in the previous thread are gone, I started a new thread about my big cats that everyone has come to love. I have a lot of new pictures to post as well, but give me about a week and they will be here. Of course, we have the new kid on the block as well. He is 4 months old, a male bobcat and his full name is Aiyajoono (Cherokee name for Thunderfoot) We call him Aiya for short. (Pronounced Eye uh) He is a rescue. You can find the details of his story at the end of this thread as well as a whole discussion on keeping exotic cats as pets here.http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76630 The new pictures will now appear in this thread.

Thunderfoot is a great name for a bobcat. I've had cats with smaller feet make as much noise.

I was going to post some new pics today, but my wife took the camera with her. Aiya is such a cutie and he loves people. He loves to cuddle with us in bed at night too. Everyone is getting along quite well now I believe I have now reached sanctuary status, since 4 of my 5 bobcats are all rescues. In fact, on the exotic cat forum that I am on, they started a fund for anyone who wishes to donate on paypal to support my rescues. Amber is still being a little grouchy, but for the most part they are all getting along. They still act cautious around one another, but no arguing or fighting. It appears they are going to be one big happy bobcat family. Aurora, our queen pixie bob still hisses at her a lot, but that is how she acts with all the other cats in the home. After all, she is the queen

John!!!! Congrats on the new boy! OMG! I can't believe I missed this thread! I will be watching for pictures!
Oh... The new pictures look soooooo beautiful! Can't believe how sweet Carmelo looks! How often are you getting to see him now?

When I am not at work, I am with Carmelo. He is a big sweet boy. Once I get high speed set up at home, I will start posting videos for everyone to see as well. His big purrs will warm anyone's heart

Ok, here he is....sweet little Aiya, our new little boy . He seems as if he has grown already, since he came to us. He now weighs 13 pounds and eats like crazy.
This is the day when he was brought to us. You can see Aiya looks a little nervous, but later on you will see that he has made himself at home






But not so nervous, that he didn't want to eat

Oh dear god, the cuteness is deadly!!!

He is freaking adorable! I just want to kiss his little nose! He reminds me of my Google with they way he sleeps and curls his little toes!

Maybe I should have added a cuteness alert?? I find it so darn adorable, that he likes to sleep in the bath tub, but has to pull down that wash clothe first, so he can lay on it. (even though he has a nice new cat bed )

Such a little baby boy....with such great big paws!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bathtub/wash cloth thing is just too sweet.

I'm so glad it looks like it's all going to work out.

BTW - is there a reason you haven't created a charitable org to help with all the expenses of caring for all these rescue babies?

No, they seem to grow so fast. He is already at 13 pounds, but has a long way to go. With those big feet he is going to be a big boy

Actually, we are going to do that. I also belong to an exotic cat forum called exoticcatz.com. There is a link at the top of the page with baby Aiya's picture, that will take you to a Paypal account to help out.
