What are your favorite types of food? Mexican, Italian, Pizza
Favorite types of chocolate? Milk and White. I like caramel, nuts, etc. No raisins in my chocolate, thank you very much. No raisins, ever!
Do you like tea, coffee, or hot chocolate? All three although coffee gets the most use here. We prefer a darker roast coffee or fruit flavored tea.
Do you like flavored coffee or tea? Yes to both. I do not like fruit flavored coffee though. I prefer hazelnut, vanilla, chocolate, etc.
Sweet or salty snacks? If so, what are your favorites?
Do you have any food allergies, like nuts? Once in a while I have an odd reaction to soy product, but that is rare.
What are your favorite kinds of cookies, esp. holiday cookies? Something involving chocolate - chocolate chip, chocolate with white chocolate chips, etc. I also love peanut butter cookies.
Are there any ingredients that should be avoided (i.e. something you hate or are allergic to)? Raisins, mushrooms, black licorice, liver.

Do you like to cook and/or bake? Yes
Do you like cookbooks? If so, are there any in particular you would like? I like community cookbooks that are compiled by churches, organizations, workplaces, for fundraisers, etc.

PERSONAL CARE

Favorite scents for lotions? Food type scents - vanilla, cinnamon. Light florals are OK and fruits are OK, but not cherry or raspberry. I have a body butter that smells so good I want to eat it - Crabtree & Evelyn Naturals Cocoa Butter, Nutmeg & Cardomon.
Do you paint your nails? What tones? Rarely
Do you prefer bath or shower products? either

Do you use hair ties, barrettes/hair-slides, etc.? Not right now
What's your favorite perfume or body spray? I have a lot of different perfumes, but usually only wear one - The Body Shop's Spirit of Moonflower. It think it has been discontinued though.

What is your favorite color? I'm more of a blue/green kind of person.
Any colors that you don't like? Even though I am thinking of painting my kitchen yellow, I'm not a huge fan. I really don't like mustard color. I don't buy red often either.
Do you like more vibrant colors, pastels, or more muted/earth tones? I keep changing. It really depend on what it is for. For T-shirts I have a lot of pastels. Around the house I have more earth tones.
If your SS is from overseas, is there anything special you would like them to include? Somethingunique to your area.
Are there any scents (candles/perfume/etc) that should be avoided due to allergies? Answered above in lotion question.

What are your favorite "comfort" things that make you happy? It's usual simple things. Curling up on the couch warm fuzzy socks. A good book. A nice scented candle.
Do you prefer not to get cat-themed gifts? For the house, no cat-themed. I have a lot. Other things are OK.
Is there something you would prefer NOT to get from your SS? Why would I answer this? It would only encourage my SS to send it to me.

Will you open your gift right away or wait until Christmas? Usually right away.

DECORATING
What colors are the rooms in your home? Pics would be easier - you can ask a snooper)
Kitchen Eventually pale yellow with lots of colored glass - pinks, blues
Living area tan, brown, sage green, pale turquoise
Bathrooms - one is deep purple , the other is a bluish/gray
bedrooms master is periwinkle blue, guest is a mint green that will be repainted at some point because I hate it and this room is a coffee color.
what is your decorating style? I'm leaning more towards contemporary these days.
Do you prefer solid colors or prints, and if the latter, what kind (floral, geometric, stripes, etc.)? If it is clothes, definitely solids. For the house solids or stripes.
Do any of your rooms have special themes? No.
Do you burn candles? Yes. More during the cooler months.
Do you put up Christmas decorations, and if so, do you prefer secular or religious ones, or doesn't it matter? Usually secular, but I do have some angels around.
Do you like Christmas ornaments/etc as a present? Sure
Do you decorate your Christmas tree/house in certain colors? My tree (and living room) is decorated in dark green/gold/ and almost a metallic lime green. I also have a small tree with just snowmen. I have another room that I put silvers and blues in.
Do you like throws/blankets? What color(s)? If it is for the living room, browns are probably best.

HOBBIES, ETC.

What are your hobbies?! gardening, cooking, photography, reading, crafts

Do you collect anything? Things from the dairy my father used to work at, but I doubt any of you will be tracking those down.

What size shirt do you wear? Depends on type of shirt. Some times large, sometimes XL.
Do you prefer t-shirts, sweatshirts or blouses? T-shirts and sweatshirts.

Do you like to receive speciality socks as a gift? Sure. I love fuzzy socks.

PETS

How many animals do you have? What kind (cats, dogs, etc!) Tell us a little about their favorite toys/treats! Abby - loves packing paper, catnip, balls - she's been really into wand toys lately.

Are there any kind of cat toys that should be avoided? (i.e. feathers, string, noisy toys that scare kitty...) Not that I can think of.

NO dark chocolate. I love milk chocolate with caramel in it..... I also like white chocolate (herseys cookies n' cream is yummy), Lindt chocolates, chocolate raisins....ok, I like chocolate

We don't have a decorating style/decor. I do collect statues big and small of fantasy items (unicorns, fairies, pegasus).

I like candle holders that you hang on the wall.

Our house is all neutral, except our recroom which is navy/burgundy/grey.

Do you burn candles? Yuppers.

Do you put up Christmas decorations, and if so, do you prefer secular or religious ones, or doesn't it matter? Yup, it doesn't matter really, but I am not religious, so things like a nativity scene isn't something for me.

Books: I don't need any movies or music... Books: I would love a book of motivational quotes... I also read fiction authors such as Dean Koontz, John Saul, Jonathan Kellerman, and the like. But I have tons of those. Some humorous books would be good: such as LOLZ cats type of books. Chicken soup for the soul books would be good too.

What kind of magazines do you enjoy reading? I don't buy magazines, but if my SS would like to get me some, I'd enjoy cross stich magazine, or Reptiles magazine.

Crosstich, and I could always use pattern books (I'm looking for some Catitude ones, fantasy oriented ones, animals in general).

Journals and pens.... I love the Sharpie fine point pens.

CLOTHING/ JEWELRY
Do you have pierced ears? Are you allergic to any kinds of metal? Pierced ears and tongue. I prefer gold or sterling silver.

Do you like jewelry? What kinds? I do, but not big jewelery. For example, my ears either have small sleeper hoops, or piercing studs. On a necklace, I like a thick cord or chain with a single item hanging on it (as opposed to a string of pearls). I like gems, amethyst(sp), emerald (my birthstone), alexandrite (hubbys birthstone) but just small ones if on jewelery.

I've always wanted a charm bracelet and I like reptile oriented necklaces and bracelets.

PETS

3 cats: Kizzy, Kitchi and Kiwi. All 3 like DaBird, and I'm looking for one without the two piece handle, could always use refills. They like any wand toys.

Treats: Temptations would be a favorite.

No allergies and I don't need any brushes.

They aren't scared of anything aside from the vaccum.

They all have collars, but Kiwi needs a personalised tag with his name on it.

Kiwi's a big nip head

Snakes: I have many, and yup, they like gifts too. I'm in need of a small snake hook (here's an example: http://tongs.com/minihook.aspx this place is expensive though, they can be bought elsewhere).

Ramekins = snake water bowls.... they need some new ones. (the bigger ones)

PETS

How many animals do you have? What kind (cats, dogs, etc!) Tell us a little about their favorite toys/treats! 5 cats at the moment. Shareena and Miss Patchwillow are 2-1/2 years old. They don’t play with toys much but love to tear up paper and cardboard boxes. A present stuffed with paper would make them very happy. Shareena will tear a feather toy to bits in about 20 seconds flat, then hide the feathers all over the house. Iris and Cali are a little over a year old. They love the laser light and will sometimes go after a toy with feathers. I also catch them chasing balls around once in a while. Merlin will be 8 months old by Christmas. He goes nuts over the laser light and anything dangling from a pole. On the other hand, he's just crazy anyway.

They both LOVE catnip toys, but Scotty likes string-type toys and Oscar really likes things he can bat around.
Does your pet (s) have any allergies to certain foods/treats that should be avoided? Scotty has FLUTD. They haven't been able to discover the overall cause, but we're working closely with a vet. That being said, food is probably not a good gift to send for him, because he has to stick to his diet.

PETS

How many animals do you have? What kind (cats, dogs, etc!) Tell us a little about their favorite toys/treats! Just the 2 cats, they love Whiskas temptations and soft toys or toys that crinkle. They especially love balls (especially ones with bells or rattley bits) and Freya's obsessed with the turbo Scratcher.

Does your pet (s) have any allergies to certain foods/treats that should be avoided? No allergies, but Temptations are the only treat we've found that Freya will eat.
Are there any kind of cat toys that should be avoided? (i.e. feathers, string, noisy toys that scare kitty...) No noisy toys please...they startle Cotton.
Do your kitties wear collars? If so what kind? Nope...Freya can get out of anything I've tried in under 10 minutes.
