Yeah I know if you leave early here (before the show has been officially closed) your points/awards can be withheld

I am benching with a Aby and a LaPerm breeder this time.
If we decide to show Cleo again then the next show will be in August.

He wasn't in the show - just on exhibition!

Our vets don't check claws though. Do you have door vetting? ours is done in the show cage.
We have door vetting and rarely in cage vetting. Even exhibitions must pass the vet check, front and back claws and of course general health/fleas.

Yeah at a NSWCFA show I went to they had door vetting. I don't think that's necessary IMO. Our vets just do a quick scan from cage to cage. It's recommended that exhibitors clip their exhibits claws though.

There was no vetting at the show I went to.
The next show is the same way.
I wonder if they are all like that is the USA.
There were some sick cats there.
The people said they would not put them in the ring unless they felt better.

I definitely think they should have someone doing a vetting or at least an inspection.

I got my new show curtains - I'll have to post pics. The colour may not show up through photos though....
I think they should have vetting also.
I wonder why they do not have it at a lot of the shows in the USA.to see the
I cant wait to see the pics of the show curtains.
I doubt my stuff will be here in time.
Its not done yet.

Thank you. Mine too! I love her so much!

Here are the photos of Tale's new curtains:

I think I still prefer her on the red. What do you think??
She looks better wth red.

Yeah there's something about white on white that doesn't appeal to me. I might get some more ribbon and make them a little fancier before I use them. Thanks Jacky.
I put a white dress on Cleo once and she looked terrible in it.
Ribbon would make it look nicer.
What about red ribbon?

Nah I'm thinking a really flashy blue silver ribbon - and probably removing the lacey stuff. Hmmm. Ohwell too late for this Sunday's show anyway!

The blue with silver ribbon sounds nice.

Yeah I wouldn't mind a set the same with red on it to though. She really suits red!

Are you ready for your show?

Not Yet.
I need to make sure I have everything packed by friday.
Last time I forgot the litter pan.
I need to clean Cleos nails today and give her a bath.
Then I will give her another bath on friday.
I am waiting for the rest of Cleos stuff to come.
Diana my mentor sent it yesterday and they said it will be here by friday.
She has a few surprises in the box.
She also said she is going to open a online store and would anyone want to buy products from her.
She does a good job.
I'm not usually a fan of red curtains, they don't seem to suit many cats but Tales looks lovely in red.

Yeah I've just packed my litter pan. As you can see from my photos our cages are really small so I don't normally worry about a litter pan for the adult cats just the kitten - although since I'm not judging or working at this show I'll monitor if Fluffy needs to go. I'd love to have the big American style cages.

Thank you very much! I think Black persians look stunning on red!
I like the show shelters better then the cages.
Cleo looks terrible in anything that is white.
Her bed and everything is reversible.
I will have to show you the other side of the things that go on the bottom of the cage.
They are red on the other side.
I just do not think cats with white or all white cats look good in white.
Cleos litter pan and show shelter are white.
So many breeders kept asing me why I have a white show shelter.
Good luck to your cats this weekend.

Thanks, good luck to Cleo too.

I'm not holding high hopes for this weekend because two of the judges that are judging on Sunday judged at the show on the 25th/26th and didn't do much for my two. One of the judges gave Tales 4th best Exotic (out of 11) and a Breeders award of merit - so maybe, she'll do better this week since she's 5 months old now and starting to "chunk" up!
Good Luck!!!
The rest of cleos things came today.
One of the judges at the show sat is the sam one Cleo had last time.
