OH area meet-up... where?

I don't live there anymore, but I grew up in Dayton (Centerville) and know it pretty well. What sort of thing are you guys looking to do?

Also, Katie, it would be great if you could bring me! I live on High St north of downtown so it wouldn't be too far out of the way. I will see if maybe I can convince my boyfriend to come and we could see my two best friends and my parents too, then you wouldn't have to drive me.

I'm excited!

Dayton's cool, that's where DH wanted to go and he's the driver. We're doing this on a weekend right?

seems like we're gonig to have a pretty good turn out! either way, I wouldn't mind at all picking you up, I'd have to swing by Columbus anyway to get to Dayton

oh definitely weekdays are not good for me..... June 28th would actually work a little better for me than June 21st, my mom and i are having a garage sale on the 21st, plus, my mom might want to come

I compiled a list of all those who seemed interested and there's 19 including me. How exciting!

I'm good any weekend but week days are impossible for me since I work full time and I'm in class twice a week till 9:15pm. I'd prefer the 21st or 28th but I can really work any weekend out.

Here's the list of names... if I'm missing anyone let me know. I know a lot of these are probably maybes and that's ok.

Maybe we should go to the Greene. It's an outdoor mall in Beavercreek, kinda like Easton or Crocker Park. There's probably something for everyone there... And it's sort of north and east of Dayton so it's easy to get to.

That looks very cool! Plenty to do and no need for anyone to feel rushed... lots of shops and eating options. Fantastic! This is why it's nice to have someone who's familiar with the area.

Dayton will be great! I live about a half hour from Dayton so if anyone wants to stay with me, I have a very comfy couch . If people want to camp out on the floor, bring your sleeping bags! I will have to wait until closer to the day that gets picked to let you guys know if I can come-- just started a new job and I don't want to request off time this early in the game. Chances are pretty good that I can come if it is a weekend-- I only work 1 weekend a month.

The 28th of June sounds good to me too!!!

Put me down as a maybe, I should have that weekend off but with a vacation only a couple of weekends before that, could throw everything off

Do you have lawn space? DH and I are probably going to spend the week camping all over Ohio so we'd happily pitch a tent in your yard if it's ok.

I'll be keeping my that you have the weekend off!

If you can't switch I imagine some (if not all) of us will still be around after 3pm. You could always stop out after your shift is over.

I'm so excited! I love it when a plan comes together. So far it looks like we've got 5 definates, 1 maybe, 1 no and the rest haven't chimed in. If they still haven't my Monday I'll send a PM.

I'll keep my for you too that you have the weekend off.

The nice thing about the Greene is that we can pick a time to meet up at a certain store/restaurant but because there is so much to do it will be easy for some of us to get there early (or late) and it won't be a big deal since theres so much to do.

Well, I live in an apartment building so i don't know if they will allow it but I am willing to ask! I actually do have a yard right in front of my apartment, but you know how weird apartment managers can be (and the little kid neighbors who like to peek in my windows!)!

We live in an apartment too. We can probably just drive to his parents or find a close by camp grounds.

So, it's looking like June 28th for the meetup? Ah, we have Tigers baseball tickets for that night. Good seats, too. They're playing the Colorado Rockies, something my BF requested when I picked up tix.

So, If that is the case, I will have to say, "next time."

I wouldn't be able to switch. It's my Saturday to work.

I couldn't come after work either. I live by Katie which is I think she said about 3 hours from Dayton....

So I think I will have to wait until next time...
