American Idol 2008

There are a few I saw that I liked, but no one that just stuck out at me. That'll probably change once things get rolling, though.

I'm not sure if i's just me, though, but I'm actualy not a fan of the Australian guy or his voice...

I've watched every season except the first. I just started watching this year, just couldn't watch the freak show another year. I liked some of the ones they put through, some I didn't ever see, and I'm terrible about remembering names until they actually start the competition.

I'm glad they didn't put Josiah through, because I think he has some emotional issues he needs to deal with and I don't think he could hold up under the competition. He does have a good voice, so I hope he gets some help and straightens out his life.

I just read that the theme for the top 24 is "Music of the 60's" and that they will be allowed to play instruments for this round.

Ew, I hate those themes.. I didn't even see the top 24 show, so I have no idea who made it! I will be watching though this season..I watched all the auditions.

I agree about 16 year old David!!! He's not only got a really good voice, but he's so freaking ADORABLE! I want to pick him up and squeeze him, and you can tell Paula wants to, too. Whenver he sings, she hugs herself and has a big smile on her face.

Is Kyle the nerdy looking kid with the brown hair and glasses, looks like he just came from the science lab? (He was one of the last of the 2 guys to get the news). ?????????? If that's not him, who's Kyle?

There are several I like, but I haven't picked my "favorite" yet

Yeah, that's Kyle. I wish he had made it too, just to give something different to the competition. And I do think he had talent. I would have liked to have seen what AI would do with him if he had gotten in.

I don't know why the public is mad that Josiah didn't make it through...He fell apart when he had to sing a song he didn't write, and worse....he kicked out the band and STILL sung horribly. He'd have to sing other people's music and with a band every week!

Kyle was just okay. He wasn't anything special, but did surprise a few people with his voice!

I think the guys may actually do better than the girls this year. I really hate how people are in the top 24 that we haven't heard yet...

So who do you think will be getting kicked off tonight?

For the guys I am hoping it is Luke Menard and either Danny Noriega or Chikezie.
For the girls I am hoping Kady Malloy and either Kristy Lee Cook or Amanda Overmeyer.

I'm the same as you for the girls, and the boys for the most part, but I usually like Danny Noriega....this week was not his best though I absolutely hate Amanda Overmeyer's voice, it's like nails on a chalkboard to me

I was very very impressed with David Cook this week, I have not really liked him up til his performance tuesday which I thought was AMAZING! I actually voted for him and David Archuleta No girl votes though, none of them particularly impressed me

Danny Noriega's personality is starting to grate on me. If he was a fantastic singer that would be one thing , but I have been underwhelmed.

Amanda Overmeyer did do better this week, but I have to agree that she is like nails on a chalkboard.

I love Danny He's so cute and I love his voice!! I hope Chikezie or the stripper dude gets voted off... For the girls I want Kady and Karley gone.

I am not up on this year's scandals. Which one is the stripper dude? I would have to guess David Hernandez.

That's the thing I like about him- he's sassy although you're right in that he hasn't shown himself to be a great singer since Hollywood week

I can only hope that more people share this sentiment

the funniest part is in an interview they asked him what talent he wished he had and he said "dancing - I'm horrible at that!"
