Stupid cat!

I just got home from work to a load smeared down the side of her LB....the OUTside.
That'll teach me to gloat on her using the LB!

Going to have to upgrade....I want to try an even larger tub...and underbed storage tub. Hopefully she'll get all the way inside of this one, because the edges aren't very high.

Her old "owners" said she wouldn't use a covered LB, so I hope a sterilite clear tub she'll use if the underbed storage tub fails.

On the bright side, she DID dig in the LB!
She's beginning to be less afraid to use her paws, too.

Has Frankie taught you nothing?!
She just stared me down this morning as she peed on the front of the dishwasher! :flame:

Anyway, I hope you find something that works for her. I love hearing her updates and it always makes me smile to hear that (even if she's smearing poop outside the box) she's doing better.

Oh dear... reminds me of what Jack did... For months, someone (either of the two, but didn't know which) was peeing on the floor in front of the LB... even when it was freshly changed, no poop or pee in it... so I started devising a system to help clean it up (all while having Feliway plugins all over, and calmants in the wet food, etc): A cheap garbage bag, laid out, with a couple pieces of paper towel on it. This way, I just had to gather that up when the mystery cat peed on it... no wiping down the floor, etc...

Then, one day, I heard scratching that sounded like plastic was being gathered up... I got up and poked my head around the corner... it was Jack, the brat. As I stood there, he looked up at me and continued to pee... staring at me defiantly. Truly my little brat-child.

Nothing wrong physically, just being a brat. The most likely issue is dominance between the two of them... so now they're on Prozac. An occasional fight, batting at each other, etc... but they are sleeping on the bed again, at the same time. Huge improvement... anyway...

I also look forward to hearing the updates on Bea... the scary thing is that last night, I dreamed that i was working with her, in my arms. Hmm... I wonder what that means...

Well, so far, so good! Looks like she pooped, and it's all inside the box! Can't tell if she peed or not.

She got a butt clip & there haven't been any cling-ons since then, so we'll see if it stays that way!

A good yet cheap backup system to save floors, are those doggy housetraining pads.
I used them under our sterilites until I confirmed that Nabu couldn't over shoot them. They really did save the carpet a few times.
Wal-mart has the best price on them- their store brand. Otherwise I've found smaller packs at Target (Arm & Hammer brand). We used them in our carriers and across the backseat of the car when we moved, too.

So glad to hear she's feeling a little better.

I've got one of those hospital pads for the best under it. They were donated to the humane society, so I snagged one & tested it prior to using it. I might have to pick up some puppy pads, though!

Bea is such a pretty girl.

Are her sutures going to dissolve without any problems?

The laser is Sadie's favorite toy ... she goes nuts.

I can't play the video at work, but I'll be looking forward to seeing it tonight at home. What a little miracle is our girl.

The sutures will dissolve, but they usually take a month or two. I do plan to contact the vet clinic & find out if I can get them to remove the sutures for me.

Let us know so we can send some vibes to sweet Bea.
More adoption vibes on the way.

I retract any & all statements I've ever made about liking this cat!

She SPRAYS when crated.

She uses the crate as a litterbox in general...pee & poop.

I close off the crate, she uses a corner.

Ohhhhh.......what......a......brat!

On the bright side, saves me of scooping litterboxes time! Clean-up of the crate is terrible, though!

I'm worried though....if she does this in any adoptees home she'll be brought back....again....and again....and again. It's not feasible for me to keep her.

While yes, most of my cats hate each other, she takes it to an extreme. She makes darling Ophelia Rose look like an angel!

Going to get cat attract litter additive & try for a clear sterilite high sided tub.....but I can't find one big enough for her that it won't take hack saw to cut a hole into! My oh my......there went any extra $$ for this month....blasted cat!

If only she understood that she is hurting herself by doing this.

Stop spraying Bea.

I know. If I can't get her to stop.....she can't stay here furr-ever. She's not adoptable, she'll be euthanized.

I'm willing to fight with her so long as I've got ideas!

I wonder if a mood altering medication, prescribed by your vet, would help.
It is time for desperate measures.
