I hope Bea has a fast recovery.

i found a link for anyone who wishes to see the details in pictures of how a declaw is done. i will only pm the link if you want it. Personaly i think it should be outlawed and this link conferms my beliefs.

I would like that please. I always forward it to others who want to declaw, also good to give to people who want to adopt from me, I won't adopt to people who declaw!

Oh, what a terrible experience for the both of you! But even though Bea (and maybe you) doesn't realize it right now, you did the right thing to give her a shot at a more comfortable life. I am sending lots of good thoughts to you today, and to poor Bea.

Sending some extra vibes for those other poor kitties too.
8 declaws?! It really should be illegal unless necessary... but I digress.

I hope the Bea and all her other "bunk mates" heal quickly and completely from this trauma.

That poor sweet girl

In her situation, it really was the only option though. She was already in so much pain, and hopefully once she recovers from this surgery she can go on to lead a happy pain-free life. The fact that her surgery was so extreme, just reinforces the fact that it should never have happened the first time.

Thanks to you though, this sweet girl now has a chance at life

and to Bea and her poor roommates.

I won't get in to see her today....but today is a GREAT day.

Today, Baby Bea goes home!
Furr-ever and ever. Through it all, these people will stick by her. Vet visits, pain meds, angry kitty....they're taking her "as is"..."damaged goods". And they'll love her anyways.

I'm so happy Bea is off to her home! Hopefully pain free for the rest of her life soon!

It just turns my stomach to hear of such stories.... I personally have turned potential adoptors away b/c I will NOT adopt to a home that will declaw their cat, absolutely horrific.

Let Bea be an ambassador for anti-declaws everywhere, dear little angel.
