I have never seen anything offensive that you have posted. Straightforward, passionate, yes, offensive, never!
I hope nothing happened to prompt this. I enjoy your posts very much, and don't think you should change.

Yes, especially in IMO you can really get upset! LOL. That's why I personally try NOT to get into those conversations... I think that if anyone - ANYONE- sees a problem with a post they should PM you and give you the heads up.. because seriously the OP might not even be aware they were offensive.... and if someone just PM's them and lets them know its offensive- they will surely change it

Nat, don't beat yourself. Nobody sets out to offend, but what's acceptable in one circumstance isn't necessarily so in another -- and with people coming from all parts of the world and all walks of life, perceptions differ greatly, and it's just soooooooooo easy to step over a line you didn't even know was there. WE know you wouldn't deliberately offend anyone -- if we didn't before this, we should now, from the fact that you felt a need to apologize.

Call it a learning experience -- I've had plenty of them in this community! -- but don't lose sleep over it.

Now, I'll go back in my cage...

My basic philosophy is that if no offense was meant, I try very hard not to take any. Good intentions count.

And the passionate expression of deeply-held personal beliefs never offends me! But when such beliefs are countered with ridicule, rather than with reasoned argument... now that's offensive. People owe it to each other to exchange ideas, not barbs.

And as for language... like Yosemite, I am always taken aback when I hear women use foul language, but I don't judge them by that criterion. I've known 'way too many wonderful women who talked like truck drivers!

Anyway, I may get my feelings hurt easily, but it takes a lot to offend me. And you've never even come close!

Gee, I can't remember what it was that offended me last...but I do remember that it happened when Gerald Ford was president.......

On a side note, in some cases that isn't true and people just get nastier. But has nothing to do with Natalie... hijack over.

Hopefully nobody can say they've been offended by anything but my ideas in IMO, and I'm used to those being offensive to people

Well. We maybe should just all go and wash our mouths out with soap. It's hard for me to remember to keep the language 'clean' because my family doesn't care and in class we can say or talk about any words.

(just kidding). Look i see it like this, In todays PC world if you try to be yourself you are goiong to offended someone no matter what you say or do.
i would not worry about it More often then not the person that get offended is the one with the issue.

Remember, half the people in this world will either like you or hate you. For what reason, you will never know. Did something happen to spark this thread or are you referring in general?
