I just read this thread, and if I were you, this situation would have driven me to the brink!!!!

Poor Fluffy, and poor other cat!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so upset for you!!!

Thankfully they've refunded you, and thrown in a few goodies...it's certainly the least they could do.

ok , iv managed to get fluffy in tomorrow morning for her spay yeaa. they had a counclation. so wish us luck. poor baby her fur has only just grown back from her last one , she has very long fur.

Good luck for the surgery, it's great that they managed to fit her in quickly! Poor girl, she shouldn't have had to go through this twice, but I am sure she will bounce back in no time.

well i just got back from the vets , there not doing the spay today , but there keeping her in for tests.
they think there is deffently a proplem with her stomach. she had been checked out a few months ago for her stomach , as it always looked bloated. but after being on antibiotics they said everything seemed fine .
but this vets are not happy with it , so there doing x rays , blood work , gonna take a urine sample and a bowl sample.
send us vibes that everything is fine. i wont know some of the results untill tomorrow. but i can find out about the x rays later on this evening.

I am so so sorry I will be gone here for 2 hours put I will check in need to go for my NST and blood work and am gonna try to get a walk in to get study contractions. I will send prayers and vibes.

update , the x rays dont show anything badly wrong , but they think she is deffently pregnant. about 5 weeks along. which is not good , so it wasnt her i saw mating as that was a little over 2 weeks ago i think. i didnt think it was her , but now it makes it worse as they dont want to spay her as they think she might have a bladder infection ? there giving her anitibiotics , but blood tests dont come back till tomorrow. they said by the time its ok to spay her they will not be able to perform her spay , she is only 10 1/2 months old shes far to young for this.
i phoned up the other vets ranting and raving at them. (threating to take legal action lol) they kept saying how sorry they was . they have offered to pay for her treatment , but the money isnt an issue its her being pregnant that is . there gonna supply kitten food for the next 3 months.
is there anything i can do about any of this ? i know the vets are trying to be very nice about it all , but im so angry i want something done. i dont know what as it isnt going to change the fact shes pregnant. and also there worried as her nipples havnt pinked up atall . but they said this isnt a problem!! im just so confused at the moment , im picking her up in the morning poor baby. and then i they should have the blood tests back. she will then need to go back in 10 days just for a check up and to make sure sure there isnt any problems with the pregnancy , sorry for going on but im so angry.

I just ran across your thread and I give you soooo much credit for remaining calm- or somewhat calm. lol. I would have seriously FREAKED OUT if it was my PHX. Seriously. I would have made them pay for EVERYTHING!!! Please keep us updated as we are all wondering what is going on!

Honestly raise your voice and let the vet hear it and tell them look I figured she was fixed and now she is knocked up. Get your money back and then go from there... I am sorry she is preggo... But you are great so am sure you can help her out

they have transfered the money to the new vets , which i have asked them to keep a hold of for when there able to spay her . they have offered to pay the £105 for the tests and x rays , but i declined. the kitten food if she does have to contuine with her pregnancy i will be giving to the rescue as they use iams , and im not a lover on iams stuff. not that i have to eat it lol .
iv calmed down alot from last night im picking her up at 10 am this morning. her brotheris missing her terribly they never leave each others side normally.
im gonna find out why her nipples havnt pinked up yet though if shes that far along surly they should have by now ?
im hoping the blood tests all come back normal , im suprised she didnt show any signs of being ill. they said she might have been in a bit of pain . shes such a cuddley cat i would have noticed. anyway , sorry for going on about this. its a lot to take in.

Oh no that's not good news

Poor thing, she's still a baby herself, the same age as my Radar. I understand when you say it's not about the money, it's about your poor girl having to go through a pregnancy, kittens that you'd completely tried to avoid bringing into the world to find homes for at a time when shelters are already overflowing, and the stress and worry to you.

well im back.
she has Cystitis but they think we got it early on , but with cystitis it can be a reacuring thing. so she had been put on royal canin senstive. they said it would be best to keep her on this all the time , and to avoid dry foods. i got it wrong she is on antibiotics for 7 days not 10 days. they gave her one by injection and then she has to have 1 twice a day.
they said there not 100% sure if she is pregnant as they could barly make out the spines of the kittens , but there 98% sure she is

she is going back after her cause of tablets are finshed for another urine test. and they should know more about her pregnancy then , but she is kept indoors only till she is spayed either way.
i just hope this dosnt change her nature shes such a loving cat i wouldnt want that to change , when we first got lilly she was so loving , then after the kittens and being spayed she complety changed. but shes home now so will just go from here. my partner is not atall happy as fluffy is *his* cat as he says. she is his baby , and he hates the thought of her having babys of her own. thanx for all the support on this guys x

thats really sucks. i can't believe they had a mixup and it cost your cat a bunch of kittens. jeez.

that will be alot of cats in your house, you may have to get a bigger one!!! 13+ cats wow. how many litterboxes is that? i hate doing litter boxes that would kill me
