ok, you'll probably think i'm crazy [aren't we all?] but i'm convinced that Mouse sent Chip to me. he does so many of the same things she did, but enough different ones that i never confuse them. & he's a big cat, like her, fun to hug. anyway, i think Davidson is busy selecting the kitty you're going to adopt. it took me 2 years before i was ready to get him, but someone else had him first, & foolishly let him go. do if i had tried to adopt a cat earlier, he might not have been there for me. take the time you need - maybe Davidson needs time to find just the right cat for you!Originally Posted by babyharley

i am so incredibly sorry to hear this, I was really shocked when I saw his name. It is so much harder to lose cats when it is so unexpected, my heart really does go out to you. I dont really know what else to say. Do try and take care of yourself though, the headache you mentioned was prob through dehydration, I had lost a few cats before I realised you could cry enough to cause dehydration, and it makes you feel 10 times worse than you already are. IT is wonderful that you will help another needy babe when the time is right, it is my way of dealing with things too (although I like to do it incredibly soon), and it is wonderful you want to make a donation in his memory, he would be so incredibly pleased and proud of his mummy and daddy for wanting something good to come of this. RIP little one, sadly taken too soon, but for a reason.

I was so shocked to hear about Davidson. I can't imagine how you must feel. Davidson was such a beautiful, lovong boy. Hugs and comforting thoughts for you, John and Harley.

I know I'm so new here I can't say I've followed Davidson growing up, but since I've been on this site, I've already found a few kitties that are special and I can't help but love already, and Davidson was one of them. I was off the forums for a few days, and when I got back today, I noticed the beautiful tributes to "Davidson" that everyone has, but I just couldn't believe they were for your Davidson! I was so shocked when I finally found out the truth. I feel hearbroken, and that's after only knowing him for a little while! My heart truly goes out to you.
I read your threads and posts last night and got choked up about the whole thing, especially when looking at your fur picture's tribute to sweet little Davidson. Instead of responding last night, i thought I'd wait till later with no tears in the way.
He was such a beautiful little angel and gift to your world even if for a short time. When he was with you he brought love and joy to your life. Now he is looking down, watching you share that love with the people and cats who surround you.

I know I am relatively new here still, but I did know Davidson and grew to love his little furness. I am so sorry for your loss and I am sending lots of prayers and hugs to you and John, and of course Harley.

I don't come into this forum much as it always makes me cry. I just saw this today & I can't believe it. There are no words I can even begin to think of, every thing seems to insignificant to even get close to the pain you must be in.
