Yah! Smudge is a year old! He turned a year on friday and these guys were two weeks on friday!
They are so cute now! My favorite one is a male
I hope the females get a better personality soon, cause I'm not keeping no boys

Their colors are comming out well and I know for sure they are all seal mitteds and seem to have nice markings so far.

inbandcats pm me if you were seriously interested in one or both males, I will be sending out a form for uncle henrys and they will be advirtised next week or so. They will most likely go quick, I usually haven't put an ad out for them and I still sell them, but since two aren't spoken for I am putting the ad in.

Smudge the Destroyer? Here I was thinking that Rags were gentle laid back cats who would't tear down the house! I think that I do need to IM you, as Leslye suggested, to talk about your little terror -

Go ahead - as kittens go, he's laid back, but still a kitten, ya know!

The babies are almost 3 weeks old and are so cute! I can't wait to get some new pics. I just got new batteries and tried but my camera doesn't work at all any more, I can't even get it to turn on
I will try to get a new one or borrow one so I can take pics this weekend and with any luck post them on monday. If not, I will get some to post before they are all 12 weeks and gone to new homes!
They are all like I said, seal mitted. No chocolates this time and no blues, I don't think Dante' carries for blue. Oh well, I was keeping a seal any way.
I have named the girl we are keeping I just haven't decided which one it is yet, but she has a name, LOL!

I finally have some pics for you! Sorry for taking so long, my niece was killed sunday 15th in a car accident. My mom and dad (stepdad) came up from ohio and I didn't have time to come on since I haven't seen them for a long time (since the last death they came up for, his mom) These pics were taken last night so they are recent and of this litter (not an old litter I tried to tie every one over with LOL) I can't fix the red eyes, they are blue really, even though they look like little demon kittens, they really are not!

Aww they are precious - are they all seal or is one a blue point? They all look like pretty dark ears to me.

I hate trying to photograph blue-eyed cats - the red is tough to not get. But try to tape a small piece of tissue over the flash part - a photographer told me this defuses the light and you should not get as much red.

They are all seals. I didn't get my blues
or any chocolates this time. I will have to try to use tape next time, when I get a camera, I used my moms before they went back home to Ohio last night so I didn't think to try that!

OMG Leslye!!! How Cute are they???
Can you tell if you've got good markings yet? Even if they are seal they could still carry blue, couldn't they?

They seem to have nice clean mitts and decent markings, some don't have the nice boots in the back feet, or they have dark pads, but they seem pretty nice. I can't tell if they are going to have any blazes yet or not though, or if they have the markings under their noses like smudge does, but they are so cute!
I am not sure if they will carry for blue or not, if they have the dulute gene I suppose they can, but I don't know if they can have that gene or not, mom is blue, so? Mabey goldenkitty can tell us? I am still learning the genetics!

Thank-you. This is a post I made about it with the picture in it from the death announcement. It has been so hard for all of us.

Yes, if one parent is dilute (blue) I believe ALL the kittens will carry the dilute gene - they have to cause the male is seal, right? And you have Seal x Blue.

The only way you'd have different is if the Seal is carrying dilute (what is his parent's color). If he was carrying dilute you would get one dilute kitten to 3 dominate (in other words - 4 kittens - 3 seal, 1 blue).

You could breed one of the kittens to a chocolate and get Seal, Blue and Chocolate.

How interesting, thank-you!
Yes, this was a seal (dad) to blue (mom) breeding. Both of males parents are seal.
