My Dad was just admitted to the ER....need prayers please!

dont think the worst, not long ago itta got sick and had to take her to the hosptal,
first thing they did was test both her and me(and i was not even sick) to see if we had the bird flu and that took forever. they would not let her out for over 24 hours



PS dont worry about calling home to much, i would bet they dont mind

no, nothing yet....the cat scan was at 1:30, so I don't know how long it takes to get the results back?!?! But my sister said she'd call as soon as she hears......

This is entirely possible with all the bugs and flus that are going around right now. He could have even gotten a double whammy of two different things and his body is having issues dealing.

Thanks everyone!!! Well, they got the results back from the cat scan.... and it turns out to be a bowel blockage. So the sickness was a result of the blockage. They have him on a morphine drip for the pain (apparently it was severe, my dad is a two time purple heart veteran, so if he was complaining it must've been bad), and something to help pass it....they are keeping him in the hospital until he passes it. They will give him so long, and if he doesn't pass it naturally then they will have to perform surgery. So please keep him in your prayers until this is all over.....

And thank you so much for your kind words, and support.....I have been fighting back the tears while I'm here at work, and if it wasn't for you guys I may have lost it.... your all the best! to you all.... I'll keep you posted.

On a lighter note, I am one to make a joke to lighten the situation....especially when I am scared. So I made sure to tell my dad that I always knew he was full of sh anyway, no matter what the dr's said! He managed to smile from that my step-mom said.....
