Stoli smells amazing, he smells like clean kitty cat fur that's silky smooth. i love to smell him. luxor on the other hand doesn't always smell that great - he kind a smells mildewy - a bit like dried stoli spit. . .

Harley and Davidson... uh, they don't smell
They smell like sweet kitties!
I can't believe how big davidson is now!!! More and more like his bro!!

Anyway, my kids all have unique smells. Rocky had a very sweet smell to him, esp on his checks.. I guess it was sorta a musky smell. Zakk's mouth smells like cat food a bit.. Tribbles my new kitty had a real "off" smell when I first picked her up, but now she just smells like cat. They usually also smell a bit like the cat litter I'm using.

Depending on when he was last bathed, Tobee either smells like oatmeal and chammomile (Mrs. Meyers Clean Day Pet Shampoo) or his own stinky spit. I think he may have OCD...

Aside from the comet trail of wafting fumes accompanying a mad dash after a satisfying poop, mine have no particular smell -- except that fresh air smell from being outside (safely) or the musky aroma of cheek glands being rubbed on my face. I have noticed in the past that if one smelled sweaty, they were not well.

It has only been recently that my furbaby Astrid has let me pick her up and cuddle her. I expected her fur to smell like cat breath/spit, but she smells wonderful. A warm, soft smell and her fur is like silk. She doesn't really smell at all but when you pick her up she smells so "cute". I don't know how to really describe it, but I am so glad she doesn't smell funky because I would not even want to attempt a bath.

Puff now smells like strawberries. And no, I didn't attempt a bath yet. I'm in no hurry to get my eyes scratched out..lol. But I forgot I have some pet cologne. So that's what he smells like now.

Laura usually smells like ...I would say the way I smell after a bath (without perfume), a bit like oatmeal, too...a very clean and pure smell.

As for Carter, it depends on whether he has recently washed himself or not. If he hasn't, fine, see Laura; but if he Did wash himself, he smells of his own spit which is rather...erm...
pungent
cause he has got bad infections on his teeth, especially nice if he decides to wake you up by breathing on your face!

The best way I can describe it is that Buffy and Willow smell like fresh winter air. Either that or they don't have a smell at all. Molly is the same (well, she smells like nothing instead of fresh air). A lot of times, she smells like feces, though... lol

Last night I gave Ferris too much cheddar cheese - my fault, I know, but that face is so hard to resist!

A couple of hours later, sure enough, he smelled like poop - and wouldn't let me near him to help him clean it off.

Note to self: Don't encourage Ferris when it comes to cheese as snacks. Less is more, LOL.

Both my cats have their own natural scents; hard to describe, but distinct from each other and not unpleasant at all. Otherwise, Oz smells like the fabric softener I use on this blanket he loves, and Spike smells a bit like my perfume, because without fail he'll walk into the room just as I'm spraying it on myself.

Oh Ceci has the best smell in the world. She smells like absolutely nothing. Its such a clean smell, I love breathing into her, I tell DH she smells cleaner than the air around us.

I dont smell her too much though 'cause im allergic.

Manytoes usually smells like dust...because no matter what I do, he continually tries to jam himself in places where he doesnt fit but dust does...ie behind/under the fridge, under the couch....climbs up to top shelves I cant reach and thus dont dust....ahem

he likes to lay on fresh laundry, so usually on laundry day smells a little like vanilla fleecy lol

He's trying to help you by dusting where you can't reach.

When we first got Lucy (such a tiny kitty), the first place she goes is under the couch and came out quite gray.

I hope no one minds if I bump this thread

I thought I was the only crazy person that loved to smell her cats.

I pick up Saki and just smell and kiss him all over his face and neck.
he just smells 'fresh and clean' is the only way I can describe it. Zoey doesnt like hugs and cuddles much but she also smells very sweet like strawberries or something

It's hard to describe what they smell like. At times, our domestics are so clean, they almost smell like fresh new carpet
The bobcats have their own scent that is hard to describe. Carmelo, he just smells so good. When I go in the enclosure with him and while he is getting his hugs, I just love to sniff his fur, especially on top of his head between the ears. He smells soooo good

My girls both smell like peace and happiness. Not a 'scent' in the traditional sence. There is just nothing to describe it really; that's just what it is.
