@Boris Diamond , Seal is gorgeous. So lovely to see the transition from feral to friendly. He reminds me a lot of my first cat as a child, 'Possum', who wandered in and lived for more than 20 years. All gray, with that same white spot under the neck.
They are all adorable, @Crazy4Strays! Congratulations. That's very exciting. I hope we get to see photos of them all as they get bigger, even if we have to go thread hopping!
@segelkatt,I was thinking the brown tinges were very much in his favour, and made him even more attractive. If the colour changes are not indicative of a deficiency that affects his health, then I'd be celebrating them, but that's just my taste, I guess.
He certainly looks like he lives a very...
@segelkatt, one of the features I find particularly appealing with Patrick is the rich-brown highlights in his black fur. I wonder if you could 'highlight' that feature in his description?
@segelkatt, Patrick is magnificent and would suit so many home situations. I hope so much that someone on this site can take him or knows of someone who can give him a loving home. If he was in Australia, I would just have to take him.
@cat nap, if I hadn't read much earlier in this thread that the shark is actually Mouse's new 'man cave', I'd have said it was dinner. Mouse's, not the shark's.
Thank you @Catnap ! I was embarrassed after admitting to not knowing what it stood for - especially when I'd suggested that thread in the same post!
I hope Mouse is taking it easy, and eating for...seven? (Then again, maybe that was his sneaky plan. I think he knows how to get around...
I don't know what PC&K is @MServant, but I wouldn't be taking any chances with Mouse. I'd be preparing the box with clean towels in the wardrobe, and checking out the 'Pregnant Cats and Kitten Care' thread on The Cat Site. Good luck, and keep us posted!
@segelkatt , I thought your foster boy would be an exception because of his long fur and outstanding looks. But in general, blacks, greys and other dark-coloured cats are harder to find homes for here too, according to a large re-homing refuge chain I work with. Occasionally they'll put...
@segelkatt , your foster boy is SO attractive. And that's a great photo. I would think here (in Australia) he wouldn't last long on the market.
And great you could stay in touch with the new carer for your Maine Coon. That's how it should be!
