They were both treated with Revolution the first time and I gave them both a dose yesterday as well. However I was not really successful in applying it properly - my first time doing it and on my own - and this morning without having to even part her fur or anything, I saw a flea on her belly...
I bathed her once after her first treatment and found a couple stragglers... I'm starting to wonder if she got fleas from the vet. He didn't clean the flea comb which clearly had hair on it.
I really don't know what to do I'm losing hope, I have a black DSH at home as well and I don't want him...
The Blue Dawn soap bath worked - or so I thought.
Today is the last day my kitty's revolution is effective. I look and of course, I see flea dirt. After bathing her, I found one flea. We just came back from the vet this weekend and were instructed to hold off on applying a second dose of...
I would love to give Diesel a bath however he's already a big scaredy cat, always hiding in cupboards :P He's a pretty big boy, 12 lbs so I think a sink shower is out of the question, it'd have to be in the bathtub. How do I successfully hold him down for a shower?
I have a black cat so naturally it is very easy to see light color particles on him.
How do you know the difference between cat dander and dandruff? What's the best way to reduce both?
My kitten Luna had a mild case of fleas - after her first flea bath I found roughly less than 20 adult fleas on her, she was 8 weeks old.
Now 2 weeks later having taken her to the vet to be treated with Revolution, I've still found two or three live fleas on her. How is this possible and how...
My adult kitty is rather picky and has a hard time transitioning to "good quality" foods, he current eats Boots & Barkley dry food. My only concern is the size of the kibble, which is bigger than kitten kibble, but the kitten seems to not have a problem with it.

I have a 2 year old cat and a 2 month old kitten who like to eat each other's food. Is there any way to prevent them from doing this or is it okay for the kitten to eat adult cat food?
I've always thought that color pointed marking were recessive because of the white fur and blue eyes it's usually accompanied with, however I've seen quite a number of tabby cats have a litter with 1 color point kitten in the litter! My little girl Luna is Ragdoll x Tabby and she has color point...
Thank you both for your input :)
I suppose you're right, the only way I know for sure is to get them both tested. Diesel was NOT tested for FeLV, I called the shelter to confirm this.
About a month ago, I adopted a 2 year old male cat (Diesel) from an individual who previously adopted him from the local humane society at 5 months of age. He was never vaccinated or tested for FeLV. However, I recently took him to the vet and was told that he is in good health.
Fast forward...
