So I am curious -- one of my adult female cats likes to stick her nose inches away from the light bulb in a lamp on a table. The lamp has no light covering so when she sticks her nose toward the light, she is merely inches away from the actual light bulb. Why does she do this?

I know and that's sad. I really wanted a kitten from her. Yea she was a good mommy. She took good care of her babies. Her sister hasn't gotten pregnant since her first liter. As soon as I can though, we plan on getting them fixed. I hate it but it has to be done.

I know. Her glands have returned to normal but all her babies are gone now.

Two of her kittens have died. One is left. A member of her cat family never had any liters to survive,

I don't have a clue yet. She's still nursing her babies.

I know. I don't plan on letting her. This is her second litter ever and even though these seem to be doing a lot better than the previous two, I just don't wan her having any more.

So I shouldn't be freaking out that my babies at 11 days old have teeth coming in and their eyes are open? These are the babies in question.

Ant bites. I saw him laying down on the driveway and it has ant hills all over it. So I believe he laid in the ant hills and they bit him.

I've never actually ever had a breed cat. I don't care either way honestly. I love cats whether they are "muts", mixed or pure. I'd love to adopt all cats (and animals) from shelters and give them homes! If only I were rich and had a lot of land!

He seems pretty fine over all really. I mean he doesn't act sick or like he's in pain or anything. I'm hoping it's something that will clear up on its own and isn't anything dangerous to him. I just get worried because he's never had this happen before.
