Have you tried one of those randomly timed, cat lazer/puffy toys? Maybe he is just bored? I hope you feel better soon!

If you can, dont let her in your room anymore. I know some fluffy, textured items seem to set cats off and they like to pee on them (thats why I had to get rid of my bean bag chairs...).

I would try a different litter, but not the super cheap kinds. I find what worked best for my cats was the Maxx scoop. Some cat litter hurt their feet, or was too dusty. I suggested it to other friends having issues with their cats, and it seemed to help. Good luck!
