Hi, the first thing I would recommend is get clippers specifically made for kitty claws - they seriously work! These are the ones I have You don't have to apply too much pressure to "push" out the claws and once you get over the initial anxiety, it's actually a very simple process...
I'm sorry to hear you're having such a hard time and like other posters have said, if you give him more time, he may come around. Adopting a kitty is a life long commitment with ups and downs. I don't believe giving it back should be an option - it's not like returning a shirt that didn't fit...

Thanks a lot! I know for a fact that they are not purebred as I know what their Mom looks like and she is most definitely not a Ragdoll. I adopted them when they were 9 weeks old and are now 15 months. I did suspect they had a little of Ragdoll in them.
