I really need some advice RE: Grieving Mother Cat

Hey all... just to let you know, the poorly cat is better now and it turns out she doesn't have leukemia, but she is anemic and the vet wants to keep an eye on her weight because she is under 2.5kg (yet she still eats loads?) She is just small framed imo. She's not super skinny or malnourished...

I really need some advice RE: Grieving Mother Cat

Yeah it was a hard week for sure. The kittens and mum seem to be doing well, and the grief of the other mum has died down a lot, only now she just sulks because I won't let her outside. I can't though, not yet. She's been through so much this week, and if I let her out and she split her...

I really need some advice RE: Grieving Mother Cat

Yeah, Bendy is a nickname from Primary school and it kind of stuck. Oh well, it's more interesting than Ben I guess. I'm from Gloucestershire. Cheltenham to be precise. I got a bit carried away last night on the old writing front. I think it was the sleep deprivation. Although saying that I...

I really need some advice RE: Grieving Mother Cat

Thank you. I've just been looking up about Mastitis and I'm guessing it is pretty easy to spot? At the moment her nipples seem pretty normal?

    Please help, Terrified!

Could she be constipated? Has she been going normally? Maybe she ate something she shouldn't have? I am only speculating of course, but either way I would take her to the vets asap as this doesn't sound like normal behaviour. Hope all goes well.

I really need some advice RE: Grieving Mother Cat

Thank you. She is still in the nest now. She is laying down but isn't sleeping. There is something else I feel I should mention, and apologies if this annoys some of you, but this has all happened out of my control due to neglect on my Mothers part before I was living here RE: Not getting the...

I really need some advice RE: Grieving Mother Cat

My cat (well it's one of my Mum's cats, but I am currently living at home) had 4 kittens on Monday and I woke up this morning (Wednesday) to find them all dead in the nest. I can only assume that the Mother was not producing enough milk, as she never left them except to go to the toilet and...
