Over the past week or so, our kitten, Iroh, has started biting a lot. He's constantly attacks people's feet and legs and tries to gnaw on people's fingers and arms. He's just over four months old now and I think he may be starting to teeth which I've heard can cause an increase in biting...
Thanks for all the feedback, everyone. Due to an overwhelming majority of people here and reviews I've found online, I think I've settled on getting a Drinkwell Platinum -- not this month unfortunately due to so heavy bills, but I'm hoping with a few not-so-subtle hints I'll get one for...
I don't how much my opinion would count considering I've only had my kitten for about a month, but I've used the large litter liners in Iroh's litter box and I love them. Yes, they do get some tears in them from his claws, but it still makes cleaning the litterbox out completely much easier and...
Iroh is fed 1/2 cup of Natural Balance Premium to eat through out the day, and every second day or so gets some Iams wet kitten food (though I'm going to be changing the wet food brand and increasing the amount of wet I'm feeding him soon.)
Wow I'm posting a lot in this forum lately. ^^;
So right now Iroh has some wet food every couple of days along with his Natural Balance. I want to start increasing the amount of wet food I give him, but also change the brand -- right now I'm using Iams wet food for kittens, simply because...
I'm considering getting a water fountain for Iroh. He already loves to drink out of the bathroom faucet when it's running, and I'm worried he may not drink enough out of his regular bowl.
There are few at my local Petsmart (below) that I'm trying to pick between...
He smelled sort of bad last night and when I sniffed him this time it was very obviously coming from his rearend. Kitty farts? ^^; I've never heard him fart, but maybe it's just a silent thing he does... The smell usually lasts for a while. How often on average do kittens tend to pass...
Yes, he's already been neutered.
I'm not sure where exactly the smell is coming from. I sniff him all over and some times it seems like it's coming just from his rear and other times it seems like it's just an overall fur smell. Next time it occurs I'll give him another thorough sniff of the...
So my boyfriend and I have noticed that Iroh, my 3 month old kitten I adopted a couple of weeks ago, smells really bad some times. Not all the time, but just now and then we'll pick him up and there will be this gross smell for some reason. The only thing I can think of is that he possibly has...
Happy to say that Iroh seems back to normal today! He slept pretty much all of yesterday evening, but when we woke up this morning he was running around and playing again. *Relief* It must have just been some sore spots where he got his needles and that's all.
Thanks to everyone though!
This afternoon I brought my new kitten, Iroh, back to the vet for two shots -- his rabies I believe and one other one. They gave them to him one on either side of his flank/bum area. He was fine and energetic when I brought him home but this evening he's started crying when ever I pick him up...
For the first week I only let Iroh and Toby see each other from opposites of the gate to the bunny room. Surprisingly enough, my timid little bunny came right up to the gate to check out the new kitten. He'd sniff around and then Iroh would do something silly like go and dart his paw through...
Not sure if the one I'm looking at beeps or not: http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2751025
I read through the customer reviews and some people remark on how they use the beep and other people say that the product description is wrong and the one they bought doesn't have it. o_O No...
Now that my new kitten Iroh has learned that he can jump up on the stove to get the kitchen counters (eek!) he does it ALL THE TIME. I've tried the spray bottle, pennies in a can, double-sided tape, and washing the counters with a soap he doesn't like the smell of and nothing seems to work...
My newly adopted 3 month old kitten, Iroh, has just discovered that he can sometimes jump high enough to get up on our kitchen counters/stove (just barely -- he gets his claws up there and hangs on for dear life, and then sometimes struggles and manages to pull himself up.)
So far we've used...
Is there a well-known list somewhere of good people-food treats you can give your cat from time to time? I know of some strictly off limit foods like chocolate, coffee, and grapes -- but what are some suggestions of healthy food treats I could let Iroh have a nibble of?
I just got access to the My Cats section and made a profile for my kitten, Iroh. It worked fine except for uploading a cat picture -- I browsed for the image on my computer, pressed the save button, and it came back with this error:
There was an error creating your cats image directory. Please...
When I went down to feed Iroh this morning, and he pranced over looking so smug with himself as I noticed that floating upside down and all shriveled up in his water dish was an ugly dead spider. Ew... *Heebie jeebies as she dumps it down the bathroom sink*
Does anyone else's cat hunt down...
